Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Set to start Thursday
Hellebuyck went through his starting routine during Thursday's morning skate, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports, indicating that he's slated to start at home against the Lightning.
Hellebuyck got the night off during the Jets' first game following the Olympic break, but he'll draw a fourth consecutive start Thursday. Across his last three outings -- all of which have gone to overtime -- he's gone 1-0-2 with a 2.89 GAA and .902 save percentage. He made a road start against Tampa Bay on Jan. 29 and allowed three goals on 36 shots (.917 save percentage) in a 4-1 loss.

Jets' Cole Perfetti: Nets equalizer Tuesday
Perfetti scored a goal on three shots and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Blackhawks.
Perfetti tied the game with just 39 seconds left in regulation, setting the stage for Mark Scheifele to be the hero in overtime. With four goals and three assists over his last seven outings, Perfetti has gotten his season back on track. He's now at 22 points, 96 shots on net, 35 hits and a minus-4 rating over 46 appearances, but his recent production suggests he is back to performing like a top-six forward again.

Jets' Mark Scheifele: Three points in OT win
Scheifele scored a goal, added two assists and recorded six shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Blackhawks.
Scheifele cracked the scoresheet after going pointless in the Jets' last two contests, and he also snapped a five-game goalless skid when he netted the game-winner at the 2:06 mark in overtime. Scheifele has 28 goals and 45 assists on the season, giving him 73 points across 60 appearances.

Jets' Dylan Samberg: Scores, assists in win
Samberg recorded a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Blackhawks.
Samberg has four points in four appearances since the Jets returned from the Olympics, tallying one goal and three assists in that stretch. He earned his first goal of the season in his 44th appearance. He has more value in formats that reward physical stats, as he has 37 hits and 73 blocked shots this campaign.

Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Snaps losing skid
Hellebuyck stopped 18 fo 20 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Blackhawks.
Hellebuyck finally snapped a five-game losing skid (0-2-3) and posted a strong showing in this win. While he was excellent with Team USA during the Olympics, things haven't been good with the Jets. Hellebuyck has gone 1-0-2 with a 2.89 GAA and a .903 save percentage since the NHL resumed play following the break. He has a 14-16-9 record this season with a 2.80 GAA and a .900 save percentage.

Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Looking to snap losing skid
Hellebuyck will patrol the home blue paint against the Blackhawks on Tuesday, per Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press.
After allowing at least three goals in six straight games, Hellebuyck turned aside 31 of 33 shots in San Jose on Sunday but didn't come out on the winning side in a 2-1 overtime loss. His play in the 2026 Winter Olympics was stellar, but it's been a rough go with the Jets lately -- he has lost five straight outings (0-2-3) and has just one win in his last 10 starts. Hellebuyck will look to get back on track Tuesday against a Chicago club that is 11-14-4 on the road this season.

Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Makes 31 saves in OT loss
Hellebuyck stopped 31 of 33 shots in Sunday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Sharks.
Hellebuyck's shutout bid ended when Will Smith beat him in the early stages of the third period, and he later allowed Michael Misa's game-winning goal in overtime. All things considered, though, this was a nice step in the right direction for Hellebuyck, who had allowed at least four goals in his previous three outings. The star netminder, who will continue to see the bulk of playing time between the pipes for Winnipeg, has gone 1-3-3 with a 3.59 GAA and a subpar .887 save percentage in his last seven starts.

Jets' Morgan Barron: Scores goal in tight loss
Barron scored a goal on two shots and blocked three shots in Sunday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Sharks.
Barron provided all the offense the Jets could muster in this game. His goal in the first period also snapped a prolonged drought for him -- his previous goal had come in a 4-3 overtime loss to Utah on Dec. 21. Barron has eight goals this season, and as a fourth-line center and penalty-kill specialist, he's not expected to play a big role in most fantasy formats any time soon.

Jets' Kale Clague: Loaned to AHL
Clague has been loaned back to AHL Manitoba by the Jets, the team announced Sunday.
Clague going down is the corresponding move to the Jets activating Haydn Fleury (upper body) from injured reserve. The 27-year-old Clague was up just serving as insurance. He has 21 points (eight goals, 13 assists) in 44 AHL games on the season and hasn't appeared in an NHL game since the 2023-24 season.

Jets' Owen Martin: Four points in Spokane win
Martin scored a goal and added three assists in WHL Spokane's 5-2 win over Tri-City on Saturday.
Martin has found his stride lately with seven goals and nine assists over his last six games. This was his second four-point effort in that span. For the season, he is up to 21 goals and 26 helpers through 56 appearances. The Jets prospect still doesn't project as a big scorer in the professional ranks, but his recent play has helped him get his 2025-26 campaign back on track after a slow start to the year.

Jets' Nino Niederreiter: Still week-to-week after surgery
Niederreiter (lower body) underwent surgery and remains week-to-week, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports Saturday.
Niederreiter has already missed the last two games and is on injured reserve. Prior to getting hurt, the 33-year-old winger posted eight goals, 19 points and 76 shots on net across 55 games this season. Once he's ready to return to action, he'll look to bolster Winnipeg's forward group and will likely return to a bottom-six role.

Winnipeg won't hold a morning skate ahead of Sunday's contest, and Hellebuyck went through his starting routine during Saturday's practice. He is coming off a 35-save effort in Friday's 5-4 overtime loss to Anaheim. Hellebuyck has a 13-16-8 record this season with a 2.84 GAA and an .899 save percentage across 37 outings. San Jose sits 18th in the league with 3.04 goals per game during the 2025-26 campaign.

Fleury hasn't been in the lineup since Dec. 19 because of the injury. He has no points, six PIM, 11 shots, 23 hits and 26 blocks in 17 outings with the Jets in 2025-26. Ville Heinola might be a healthy scratch Sunday or even reassigned to AHL Manitoba due to Fleury's return.

Namestnikov has seven goals, 13 points, 28 PIM and 71 hits in 57 appearances in 2025-26. He sustained the injury during Friday's game against Anaheim. Walker Duehr is likely to draw into the lineup Sunday versus San Jose due to Namestnikov's absence.

Samberg notched an assist and two shots on goal in Friday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Ducks.
Samberg has a helper in each of the last two games and three assists over his last six outings. For the season, the 27-year-old is at 11 assists, 55 shots on net, 67 blocked shots, 37 hits and a minus-1 rating over 42 appearances. He's set to handle a larger role while the Jets are missing numerous regulars on the blue line due to injuries.
