  • Blues' Nick Leddy: Will miss at least three more games

Leddy (lower body) won't accompany the Blues on their upcoming three-game road trip, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports Wednesday.

That rules Leddy out for the Blues' games in Buffalo on Thursday, Boston on Saturday and Carolina on Sunday. His next chance to return would be Tuesday's home tilt against the Wild. Leddy hasn't been in the lineup since Oct. 15 due to the injury. When he is healthy, Leddy figures to serve in a top-four capacity, though he isn't guaranteed a spot on the power play.

  • Blues' Dylan Holloway: Offers power-play helper

Holloway notched a power-play assist and three shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Bruins.

Holloway has two helpers over his last five games, and he's been no worse for wear after taking a puck to the neck versus the Lightning last Tuesday. The 23-year-old continues to see top-six usage and power-play time. He's at seven points, 28 shots on net, 31 hits, 12 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over 16 appearances. Holloway's mix of decent offense and physical play makes him an option for deeper fantasy formats.

  • Blues' Oskar Sundqvist: Power-play goal in loss

Sundqvist scored a power-play goal and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Bruins.

Sundqvist has two goals over his last four games, an improvement on the goose egg he put up over his first five contests of the season. The 30-year-old has been in the power-play mix as well, playing on the second unit. He has just three shots on net to go with 11 hits and seven blocked shots this season, and as a defensive forward, Sundqvist probably won't get a lot of good looks on offense.

  • Blues' Robert Thomas: Will travel with team

Thomas (ankle) will accompany the Blues on their upcoming three-game road trip, which begins with Thursday's game in Buffalo, so that he can skate with the club, per Lou Korac of NHL.com.

Thomas hasn't played since Oct. 22 due to a fractured ankle, and his return isn't believed to be close, but it's still encouraging that he'll travel with the team. He has a goal and six points in seven appearances in 2024-25.

  • Blues' Brayden Schenn: Ends goal drought Tuesday

Schenn scored a power-play goal in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Bruins.

The 33-year-old center opened the scoring midway through the second period, snapping a 13-game goal drought by tapping home a rebound with the man advantage. It was just Schenn's second goal of the season and first power-play point, and through 16 contests he's managed only six points despite a consistent shift in the top six and on the first power-play unit.

  • Blues' Jordan Binnington: Leads slips away late

Binnington made 27 saves in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Bruins.

The veteran netminder took a shutout into the third period, but his defense didn't give him much help over the final 20 minutes as the lead slipped away. The three goals against Binnington came on an odd-man rush after a neutral-zone giveaway, a point shot on which he was screened by one of his teammates, and finally a David Pastrnak one-timer with 1:47 left that the goalie got a piece of, but couldn't prevent from sneaking across the goal line. Binnington could have used a better result after giving up eight goals to the Capitals in his last start, and through 12 appearances on the season he sports a 4-7-0 record with a 3.26 GAA and .887 save percentage.

  • Blues' Leo Loof: Up from minors

Loof was recalled by St. Louis on Wednesday.

Loof has an assist and 21 PIM in 11 appearances with AHL Springfield in 2024-25. He hasn't made his NHL debut, and there's no guarantee it will come Thursday versus Buffalo. Still, with Philip Broberg (lower body) joining fellow defensemen Torey Krug (ankle) and Nick Leddy (lower body) on injured reserve, the Blues were down to six healthy blueliners, so the addition of Loof offers the team some insurance and flexibility.

  • Blues' Philip Broberg: Lands to IR

Broberg (lower body) was moved to injured reserve Tuesday, per the NHL media site.

Broberg hasn't played since Nov. 2 and received a 4-6 week timeline for his recovery. He has generated two goals, seven assists, 11 shots on net, 12 blocked shots and 10 hits across 12 appearances this season. With Broberg and Nick Leddy (lower body) unavailable, Pierre-Olivier Joseph and Scott Perunovich have been filling in on the blue line.

  • Blues' Jordan Binnington: Facing Bruins

Binnington will patrol the home crease Tuesday versus Boston, according to Lou Korac of NHL.com.

During his last outing, Binnington surrendered eight goals on 27 shots in Saturday's 8-1 loss to Washington. He has a 4-6-0 record with a 3.28 GAA and an .886 save percentage through 11 appearances this season. Boston is tied for 26th in the league with 2.50 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Blues' Mathieu Joseph: Expected to return Tuesday

Head coach Drew Bannister said Monday that he expects Joseph (lower body) to return Tuesday against Boston, Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic reports.

Joseph participated in Monday's practice session, and Bannister said afterward that he thought the 27-year-old looked good. Assuming Joseph continues to feel good ahead of Tuesday's matchup, he'll likely be able to put an end to his six-game absence due to a lower-body injury. Over nine appearances this year, he's tallied two goals, four points, 13 hits and five blocked shots while averaging 13:05 of ice time.

  • Blues' Scott Perunovich: Finally gets first career goal

Perunovich scored a goal in Saturday's 8-1 loss to the Capitals.

It took until his 79th career game over parts of three seasons, but Perunovich is officially an NHL goal-scorer. The tally was the 26-year-old's first point in six appearances in 2024-25, as he's struggled to stay in the lineup. He's taken over a third-pairing role and a spot on the second power-play unit since Philip Broberg (lower body) sustained an injury in early November. Perunovich has added just two shots on net, seven blocked shots, four hits, four PIM and a minus-3 rating, so if he's going to be a factor in fantasy, he'll need to develop a stronger scoring touch.

  • Blues' Jordan Binnington: Betrayed by Swiss cheese defense

Binnington made 19 saves in an 8-1 loss to the Capitals on Saturday.

This game wasn't completely on Binnington, as his defense played like Swiss cheese in front of him. His 4-6-0 record with a 3.28 GAA and an .886 save percentage aren't impressive numbers, but his ability to battle is epic. Binnington made an incredible lunging stick save in the game that prevented an additional goal from going into the net. Still, fantasy managers need him and the players in front of him to play much better.

  • Blues' Jordan Binnington: Expected to start Saturday

Binnington is set to start at home against Washington on Saturday, per Lou Korac of The Hockey News.

Binnington has won his past two starts while stopping 56 of 60 shots (.933 save percentage). That gives him a 4-5-0 record, 2.78 GAA and .904 save percentage across 10 appearances in 2024-25. Although he's on a bit of a roll, the Capitals will still be a challenging adversary. Washington is 9-4-0 and ranks fourth offensively with 3.92 goals per game.

  • Blues' Kasperi Kapanen: Returns to action Saturday

Kapanen (upper body) will be back in the lineup versus Washington on Saturday, according to Lou Korac of NHL.com,

Kapanen sat out four consecutive games with the injury. Kapanen is off to a slow start, with only one goal in eight appearances this season. Look for him to occupy a bottom-six role, as he has averaged only 11:47 of ice time per game in 2024-25.

  • Blues' Jake Neighbours: Secures assist in loss

Neighbours recorded an assist in Thursday's 4-2 loss to Utah.

Neighbours snapped a four-game slump with his helper on a Colton Parayko tally in Thursday's contest. The 22-year-old Neighbours has been streaky so far in 2024-25, so fantasy managers will be hoping this assist starts a heater. The winger is at six points, 26 shots on net, 33 hits, 12 PIM and a minus-7 rating through 14 contests in a top-six role.
