Grubauer is set to start for Team Germany against Denmark on Thursday at the 2026 Winter Games.
Grubauer has an 11-6-3 record, 2.43 GAA and .916 save percentage in 22 outings with Seattle in 2025-26. This is the first game of the tournament for both Denmark and Germany. Miettinen has earned two goals and seven assists during a five-game point streak. His return from the World Junior Championship was a little bumpy, as he missed about two weeks of action, but he looks to be back on track now. At the tournament, Miettinen had four points in six contests for the Finns. He's at 21 goals and 53 points over 36 outings in the WHL this season, and he's also maintained a plus-42 rating for one of the best teams in the league.

Kraken's Jagger Firkus: Three helpers in AHL win
Firkus logged three assists in AHL Coachella Valley's 4-3 overtime win over Henderson on Saturday.
Firkus has three goals and three assists over his last four outings. The 21-year-old winger continues to excel in his second AHL campaign, earning a total of 17 goals and 27 assists over 45 appearances. He's added 122 shots on net and a plus-16 rating. The Kraken typically haven't rushed prospects to the NHL, but Firkus may not need much more time in the AHL at the rate he's going.

Even with a hefty January schedule, the Kraken didn't opt to give Mahura a look or two in a rotational capacity. The team's defense has been mostly healthy lately, and Cale Fleury appears to have priority over Mahura whenever an opening occurs. The Kraken led 3-1 after the first period, and that was enough to give Daccord his fourth straight win. The 29-year-old has allowed just eight goals during the streak, turning things around after a tough first half of January. Daccord improved to 16-12-5 with a 2.81 GAA and a .903 save percentage in 33 outings overall.
