Stars' Alex Petrovic: Scores second career playoff goal
Petrovic scored a goal on his only shot, threw two hits and went plus-1 in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Jets in Game 3.
Petrovic's marker was subjected to a lengthy review to determine if he distinctly kicked the puck into the net, but the goal was ultimately upheld. This was Petrovic's first playoff tally since 2016, when he was with the Panthers. The right-shot blueliner appeared in just five regular-season games in 2024-25, but he's already doubled that total in the postseason. He's been steady on the third pairing, chipping in a goal, an assist, six shots on net, 22 hits and 10 blocked shots while averaging 13:55 of ice time. If Petrovic continues to hold his own on the blue line, he could earn himself a full-time role in the regular season in 2025-26.

Stars' Wyatt Johnston: Nets goal in home win
Johnston scored a goal on two shots and levied four hits in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Jets in Game 3.
Johnston was held without a point in the first two matchups of this series, but he helped seal the win by giving Dallas a 5-2 lead in the final stanza. The 21-year-old has delivered four goals and four helpers over 10 playoff games, but his minus-11 rating is the worst mark on the team. Johnston will look to improve that number when the Stars host the Jets in Game 4 on Tuesday.

Stars' Sam Steel: Chips in two helpers Sunday
Steel recorded two even-strength assists in Sunday's 5-2 win over Winnipeg in Game 3.
Steel has been a valuable depth contributor in the postseason -- he has five assists over 10 games. That kind of production for a fourth-line player goes a long way for a team with Stanley Cup aspirations, as it allows head coach Pete DeBoer to roll all four lines. Steel has added 16 hits and 12 PIM while managing 13:40 of ice time in the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Game 4 will take place in Dallas on Tuesday.

Stars' Mikael Granlund: Dishes two apples Sunday
Granlund generated two even-strength assists and went plus-2 in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Jets in Game 3.
Granlund provided assists on goals by Thomas Harley and Mikko Rantanen in the first and third periods, respectively. The 33-year-old Granlund had just one goal and one assist over nine playoff outings coming into Game 3, but his multi-point performance Sunday helped Dallas gain a 2-1 series lead. Granlund has yet to put more than two shots on goal in a game in the 2025 playoffs, so his production will most likely continue to be tied to his playmaking abilities.

Stars' Thomas Harley: Goal, assist in home victory
Harley scored a goal on three shots, registered an assist and blocked two shots in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Jets in Game 3.
Harley provided an assist on Roope Hintz's power-play goal in the first period and added a goal of his own later in the frame. Harley has not looked out of place as the Stars' No. 1 defenseman while Miro Heiskanen works his way back from a knee injury. Even when Heiskanen is ready to return, which could be as soon as Game 4 on Tuesday, Harley may continue to quarterback the top power-play unit in the short term considering the former's long layoff. Harley has accounted for three markers, eight points and a minus-6 rating over 10 postseason outings.

Stars' Roope Hintz: Two points in Game 3 victory
Hintz notched a power-play goal, an assist, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 5-2 win over Winnipeg in Game 3.
This was Hintz's third multi-point effort of the playoffs. The Finnish center opened the scoring with the man advantage just 2:27 into the first period, and he set up linemate Mikko Rantanen's ninth goal of the postseason in the final stanza. Hintz, who has five goals and 10 points (four on the power play) over 10 contests, trails only Rantanen for the team lead in playoff scoring. The Stars can take a commanding 3-1 series lead if they secure another victory on home ice in Game 4 on Tuesday.

Stars' Mikko Rantanen: Continues to dominate in playoffs
Rantanen racked up a goal and two assists, including one on the power play, in Sunday's 5-2 win over Winnipeg in Game 3.
Rantanen is on an absolute tear -- he has scored or assisted on 15 of the Stars' last 16 goals. The all-world winger was held off the scoresheet in a shutout loss in Game 2, but over the last six games, Rantanen has amassed nine goals and eight helpers. He had two primary assists before scoring himself to stretch Dallas' lead to 4-2 in the final frame Sunday. The 28-year-old leads the NHL in postseason scoring with nine goals and 18 points over 10 outings.

Stars' Jake Oettinger: Victorious on home ice Sunday
Oettinger turned aside 23 of 25 shots in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Jets in Game 3.
With the win, Oettinger improved to 4-1 at home this postseason. The 26-year-old netminder conceded a goal in each of the first two periods Sunday, but Dallas scored three times in the final frame to take a 2-1 series lead ahead of Game 4 on Tuesday. Oettinger sports a 6-4 record, .911 save percentage and 2.71 GAA over 10 playoff outings. The Minnesota native is currently tied with Edmonton's Calvin Pickard for the most wins among goaltenders in the 2024-25 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Stars' Jake Oettinger: Starting Game 3
Oettinger will patrol the home crease against Winnipeg in Game 3 on Sunday, per Mike Heika of the Stars' official site.
Oettinger made 21 saves on 24 shots in Friday's 4-0 loss to the Jets, with the fourth goal being an empty-netter. He has earned a 5-4 record with a 2.78 GAA and a .910 save percentage through nine appearances this postseason. Winnipeg has registered 3.00 goals per game in the 2025 playoffs.

Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Ruled out for Sunday
Heiskanen (knee) won't be in the lineup against Winnipeg on Sunday in Game 3, Mike Heika of the Stars' official site reports.
Heiskanen will miss his 42nd straight game. He remains day-to-day despite not having a clear timeline for his return to the lineup. Heiskanen had five goals, 25 points, 108 shots on net and 85 blocked shots across 50 appearances during the 2024-25 regular season.

Stars' Jake Oettinger: Gets no help in loss
Oettinger stopped 21 of 24 shots in Friday's 4-0 loss to the Jets in Game 2. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.
Tyler Seguin took a double-minor for high-sticking on the first shift, and that set the Stars back immediately. The Jets cashed in on the power play and managed the lead for the rest of the game, leaving Oettinger with no help in this loss. The series is now tied at 1-1, and Oettinger has stopped 50 of 55 shots over two games against the Jets. He'll look to get back on track on home ice in Game 3 on Sunday.

Stars' Jake Oettinger: Tending twine Friday
Oettinger will protect the road goal in Game 2 versus the Jets on Friday, Tracey Myers of NHL.com reports.
Oettinger shook off his Game 1 demons Wednesday, making 29 saves in a 3-2 win to give the Stars a rare 1-0 series lead. The 26-year-old will look to turn in a repeat effort in Game 2, and if he can do so, the Stars are set to head home with a formidable 2-0 series lead.

Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Not playing Friday
Heiskanen (knee) has been ruled out of Game 2 in Winnipeg on Friday, Mike Heika of the Stars' official site reports.
Heiskanen has been out of action since Jan. 28 when he suffered a knee injury. The left-shot blueliner will miss his 40th straight game Friday. He has been practicing with the Stars and could return as early as Sunday's Game 3 on home ice. Heiskanen had five goals and 20 assists across 50 regular-season games in 2024-25.

Stars' Ilya Lyubushkin: Adds helper in win
Lyubushkin generated an assist in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Jets in Game 1.
Lyubushkin remains warm on offense with three assists over his last four games. That's all of his point production this postseason, to go with nine shots on net, eight hits, eight blocked shots and a minus-5 rating across eight outings. Lyubushkin continues to offer more upside as a stay-at-home blueliner, so don't expect his surge on offense to last.
