Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Collects two points Sunday
Rotowire
Fabbro recorded a goal and an assist in Sunday's 7-3 win over the Rangers. He finished with two shots on goal, five blocked shots and a plus-2 rating.
Fabbro found the back of the net for the first time since Jan. 25, when he noticed a goal in a 3-2 overtime win over the Kings. This was also his first multi-point effort of the campaign. Even though the 26-year-old isn't known for being a reliable fantasy presence, he certainly turned heads with his play in Sunday's scoring barrage. One area in which Fabbro contributes consistently is the physical side of the game, as he's notched 50 hits and 115 blocked shots in his 50 contests between Columbus and Nashville so far this season.

Columbus has three games remaining before the start of the 4 Nations Face-Off, so with Evason's update in mind, Fabbro may not be an option on the blue line until the team resumes play Feb. 22 versus Chicago. The British Columbia native has accounted for four goals, 13 points and a plus-14 rating over 37 appearances with the Blue Jackets this season. Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Nets game-winner against Chicago
Rotowire
Fabbro scored a goal on two shots, blocked two shots and went plus-3 in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Blackhawks.
Fabbro's third-period tally stood as the game-winner. The Blue Jackets leaned heavily on their top-four blueliners Sunday, though that's been pretty common lately. He's up to three goals and six points, as well as a plus-14 rating, over nine outings with Columbus after being held without a point across six games for Nashville to start the season. Fabbro offers a little all-around production, so he's worth a look in deeper fantasy formats and is trending upward.

Predators' Dante Fabbro: Lands on waivers
Rotowire
Fabbro was put on waivers by the Predators on Saturday, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
Fabbro was selected with the No. 17 overall pick in the 2016 NHL Draft and had successfully established himself as a part of the Predators' blue line, recording 24 points in 66 regular-season outings in 2021-22, followed by 11 points, 50 PIM, 113 hits and 129 blocks across 79 regular-season appearances in 2022-23. However, he logged just 56 regular-season games last campaign, and the 26-year-old has been used even more sparingly this year. He has no points, a minus-3 rating, one hit and seven blocks across six outings in 2024-25 while averaging 13:06 of ice time. The defenseman has also been a healthy scratch in five straight games. Given his $2.5 million cap hit, Fabbro will likely go unclaimed and could be reassigned to the AHL Milwaukee.
