Cowboys' Caelen Carson: Practices in full Wednesday
Carson (shoulder) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice session, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Carson has missed the last two games due to a shoulder injury, but the rookie fifth-round pick appears past the issue. Barring any setbacks, he should make his return Sunday against the Lions and reclaim his starting spot at corner opposite Trevon Diggs. Carson has registered 15 tackles (14 solo) and two passes defended across three regular-season games.

Cowboys' DaRon Bland: Returns without restriction
Bland (foot) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice session, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Bland was placed on injured reserve at the conclusion of training camp due to a stress fracture in his left foot. Jon Machota of The Athletic reported Tuesday that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones doesn't expect Bland to play in Week 6 against the Lions. However, Bland's full participation in Wednesday's practice indicates that the 2022 fifth-round pick could make his regular-season debut Sunday, barring any setbacks. In 2023, Bland led the NFL with nine interceptions, and his five pick-sixes are an NFL single-season record.

Cowboys' Tyler Guyton: Logs full practice Wednesday
Guyton (knee) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Wednesday's full practice indicates that Guyton has already moved past the knee injury he sustained during the Cowboys' Week 5 win over the Steelers. Expect the 2024 first-round pick to continue serving as Dallas' top left tackle as the season progresses.

Cowboys' Micah Parsons: Opens week as DNP
Parsons (ankle) did not participate in Wednesday's practice session, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Parsons is week-to-week due to a high-ankle sprain he suffered in Week 4. It kept him out of the Cowboys' Week 5 victory over the Steelers, and unless he can practice in a limited capacity this week, he is in jeopardy of being sidelined for Sunday's game against the Lions. Carl Lawson and Tyrus Wheat will see extended playing time in Parson's absence after primary backup Marshawn Kneeland (knee) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday.

Cowboys' Eric Kendricks: Doesn't practice Wednesday
Kendricks (calf) was listed as a DNP on the Cowboys' injury report Wednesday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Kendricks registered a team-leading 10 tackles (four solo) during the Cowboys' Week 5 win over the Steelers, but the veteran linebacker appears to have come out of that game a little worse for wear. He'll have two more chances to participate in practice before Sunday's game against the Lions. Kendricks has registered 52 tackles (24 solo), including 2.0 sacks, one interception and one forced fumble through the first five games of the regular season.

Cowboys' Marshawn Kneeland: Officially goes to IR
Dallas placed Kneeland (knee) on its injured reserve list Wednesday.
It was already established after Kneeland was diagnosed with a partially torn lateral meniscus Monday that he would have to sit out at least four games, so his move to injured reserve isn't a surprise. Carl Lawson and Tyrus Wheat figure to be the primary beneficiaries of Kneeland's extended absence in terms of playing time.

Cowboys' DaRon Bland: Gets go-ahead to practice
Dallas opened Bland's (foot) 21-day practice window to return from its injured reserve list Wednesday.
Bland has missed the first five games of the year as he's been recovering from a surgery he underwent before the regular season began, but it looks like he could finally be on his way back to action. If the Cowboys don't activate him within the next 21 days, however, he'd have to spend the rest of the year on their injured reserve list.

Cowboys' DeMarvion Overshown: Logs eight tackles vs. Pittsburgh
Overshown tallied eight tackles (seven solo) and one pass defended during Sunday's 20-17 win over the Steelers.
Overshown had the second-most tackles for the Cowboys on Sunday behind Eric Kendricks (10). For the first time this season, Overshown played every defensive snap, and he's emerged as an integral piece of Mike Zimmer's defense. Overshown is up to 37 tackles (25 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and two passes defended through five regular-season games.
