  • Bengals' Mike Hilton: Full practice Wednesday

Hilton (knee) returned to a full practice Wednesday, Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com reports.

The Bengals really missed Hilton against the Ravens last week, doubly so once they lost Dax Hill early in the game.

  • Bengals' Sheldon Rankins: Returns to practice

Rankins (hamstring) returned to practice Wednesday for the first time since getting hurt, Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com reports.

Rankins was limited in his first practice back, as one would expect to happen. There's some hope that he can play Sunday night against the Giants. The Bengals have only had Rankins and B.J. Hill out there together in five of a possible 20 quarters this season.

  • Bengals' Mike Gesicki: Dealing with hamstring issue

Gesicki (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.

Gesicki was on the field for 29 of the Bengals' 67 snaps on offense in this past Sunday's 41-38 overtime loss to the Ravens, en route to catching both of his targets for 31 yards. After logging 18 targets in his first three games this season, the veteran TE has seen just three over his last two outings, with the presence of rookie Erick All (14 catches -- on 14 targets -- for 92 yards in his last four contests) having started to hamper Gesicki's fantasy upside.

  • Bengals' Zack Moss: Not practicing

Moss (foot) didn't practice Wednesday, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.

The Bengals are now calling it a foot injury, after an ankle issue initially was reported when Moss left Sunday's loss to Baltimore in the fourth quarter. He returned to the game not long after and even took a carry, but he didn't look right and was then pulled for good, leaving Chase Brown to dominate backfield snaps at the end of the fourth quarter and into overtime. Brown should get a huge workload if Moss isn't ready to face the Giants come Sunday night.

  • Bengals' DJ Ivey: Gets back to practice

Ivey (knee) was designated to return from the reserve/PUP list Wednesday.

Ivey opened camp on the PUP list as he continued to recover from a torn ACL suffered in Week 15 last season. The 24-year-old now has a 21-day window to practice with the team before needing to be placed on the 53-man roster. Considering the amount of time he has missed, it's likely the Bengals may make use of most of that time, getting Ivey back up to speed.

  • Bengals' Erick All: Two catches in loss

All caught both of his targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 41-38 overtime loss to the Ravens.

All led all Cincinnati tight ends in playing time Sunday, as he was on the field for 52 percent of the Bengals' offensive snaps. As the rookie tight end continues to develop, it's possible that he overtakes Mike Gesicki as the unquestioned top pass-catching option at the position, though Drew Sample (43 precent share in Week 5) also continues to see plenty of involvement as more of a blocker.

  • Bengals' Mike Gesicki: Targeted twice against Ravens

Gesicki secured both of his targets for 31 yards in Sunday's 41-38 overtime loss to the Ravens.

Gesicki played 29 of the Bengals' 67 offensive snaps Sunday while rookie tight end Erick All was on the field for 35 snaps. The rookie has now played more snaps that Gesicki in both of the past two weeks. The 29-year-old veteran could continue to see his role diminish with the emergence of All, not to mention the fact that head coach Zac Taylor has also kept a third tight end (Drew Sample) regularly involved on offense.

  • Bengals' Andrei Iosivas: One catch in loss

Iosivas caught one of his two targets for 39 yards in Sunday's 41-38 overtime loss to the Ravens.

Iosivas was limited to just one reception for a second straight game, as the wideout continues to be less involved in the Bengals offense with teammate Tee Higgins healthy. The 24-year-old still played 53 of the Bengals' 67 offensive snaps Week 5, behind Ja'Marr Chase (59) but ahead of Higgins (48). With Chase and Higgins dominating the target share, however, Iosivas is difficult to trust for consistent fantasy production.

  • Bengals' Jaxson Kirkland: Moves to IR

Kirkland (biceps) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.

Kirkland suffered a torn bicep in Sunday's loss to the Ravens and was not expected to return this season. His move to IR will at least guarantee he'll miss the team's next four games, although he'll likely stay on the shelf until offseason programs begin in 2025.

  • Bengals' Dax Hill: Sent to injured reserve

The Bengals placed Hill (knee) on injured reserve Tuesday.

Hill suffered a season-ending torn ACL in Sunday's Week 5 loss to the Ravens. With Hill done for the year, cornerback duties will fall on Cam Taylor-Britt and DJ Turner on the outside, with Mike Hilton (knee) in the slot once healthy. Josh Newton is next up on the depth chart. With his 2024 campaign over, Hill will have an eye toward rehabbing for 2025, in what shapes up as a contract year for the 2022 first-round pick.
