Vikings' Jordan Addison: Ankle injury not thought to be serious
Addison will undergo tests on his injured right ankle Monday, but the issue isn't thought to be a serious one, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Addison tended to a left high-ankle sprain last month that kept him off the practice field until Sept. 2, and he eventually avoided a designation for the Vikings' Week 1 road matchup with the Giants. However, he exited Sunday's eventual win in the third quarter and didn't return due to an injury to his other ankle. If Rapoport's report proves to be true, Addison may miss little, if any, time, but the aforementioned testing ultimately will determine if an absence is possible.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Injures right ankle Sunday
Coach Kevin O'Connell relayed after Sunday's win over the Giants that Addison injured his right ankle in Week 1, rather than his left one, which he hurt last month, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.
Per Seifert, Addison will be evaluated again once the team returns to Minnesota. Meanwhile, Ben Goessling of the Minneapolis Star Tribune adds that O'Connell said that he hoped the wideout's current ankle issue is a short-term situation. Either way, Addison's status is worth tracking ahead of next Sunday's game against the 49ers.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Ruled out Sunday
Addison won't return to Sunday's game at the Giants due to an ankle injury, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
Addison went to the locker room in the third quarter with members of the Vikings' training staff and was ruled out shortly thereafter. He'll thus end Week 1 with three catches (on four targets) for 35 yards. Further clarity on Addison's status may be relayed by coach Kevin O'Connell after Sunday's contest.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: No injury designation
Addison (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game at the Giants.
Addison and fellow wideout Jalen Nailor (ankle) both upgraded to full practice participation Friday after being limited the previous two days. The Vikings enter Week 1 with their full complement of wide receivers, although it is possible Addison plays a few less snaps than usual or isn't at his best, considering he suffered a high-ankle sprain Aug. 14 and just returned to practice this Monday.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Practicing Friday
Addison (ankle) is practicing Friday, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.
Addison said Thursday that he'll play in Sunday's game against the Giants and anticipates being at "100 percent" strength. He was a limited practice participant Wednesday and Thursday, after suffering a high-ankle sprain Aug. 14 and missing more than two weeks of practice.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Vows to play Sunday
Addison (ankle) says he will play Sunday at the Giants even though he was limited in practice Thursday. "Physically, I'm feeling great," Addison told the Minneapolis Star Tribune. "I'm going to be 100 percent on Sunday and y'all are going to see."
Addison revealed he suffered a high ankle sprain in practice Aug. 14, which is a little worrisome since the injury may have been worse than first thought. However, head coach Kevin O'Connell also said he was confident Addison will play. Addison will need to make it through another practice Friday before fantasy managers can feel confident he'll get a full workload Sunday.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Remains limited Thursday
Addison (ankle) was limited at practice Thursday.
Prior to Thursday's session, Addison seemed to be taking part in a good portion of drills, per Alec Lewis of The Athletic, but his eventual listing on the Vikings' second Week 1 injury report ultimately remained the same as it did Wednesday. Addison thus has just Friday's practice to prove his health before the team potentially tags him with a designation for Sunday's game at the Giants. The second-year wide receiver has been tending to a sprained ankle since sustaining the injury during an Aug. 14 practice.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Officially limited Wednesday
Addison (ankle) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, Dane Mizutani of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Addison got back on the practice field Monday, when he participated without a helmet, for the first time since Aug. 14. Prior to Wednesday's session, head coach Kevin O'Connell expressed optimism to Andrew Krammer of the Minneapolis Star Tribune that the second-year wide receiver should log a full session by week's end. With a capped practice under his belt, Addison now will have two more chances to return to full activity before the Vikings potentially hand him a designation ahead of Sunday's contest at the Giants.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: On track for Sunday
Head coach Kevin O'Connell said Wednesday that Addison (ankle) is in a "good spot" and should be a full practice participant by the end of the week, Andrew Krammer of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Addison was limited at Monday's practice, and he has be listed as limited again when the Vikings release their first official Week 1 injury report later Wednesday. He sprained his ankle during practice Aug. 14, which means he'll be 25 days removed from the initial injury when the Vikings face the Giants this Sunday. O'Connell apparently is optimistic about Addison's odds of playing, but fantasy managers should still have a backup plan in place.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Looks limited at practice
Addison (ankle) was spotted warming up during the portion of Monday's practice open to the media, Andrew Krammer of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Addison appears to be practicing without a helmet Monday, per Alec Lewis of The Athletic, an indication that he's logging a limited session. Nonetheless, it's encouraging to see the second-year wideout handling reps again for the first time since he was carted off the field Aug. 14. The Vikings will likely continue ramping up Addison's activity level ahead of Sunday's regular-season opener on the road against the Giants. Wednesday's first official practice report of the campaign will shed more light on Addison's status for Week 1.
