Chargers' Teair Tart: UFA after 29-tackle season
Tart finished the 2024 regular season with one sack among his 29 tackles (15 solo). He also had one interception among two passes defensed, forced one fumble and recovered one fumble.
Tart played in all 17 regular-season games and suited up for the Chargers' season-ending 32-12 loss to the Texans in the wild-card round of the playoffs, adding three tackles (two solo). The defensive tackle, who will turn 28 on Feb. 28, is set to be an unrestricted free agent in the offseason.

Chargers' Teair Tart: Joining Chargers
Tart is set to sign with the Chargers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Tart was released by Miami on Tuesday but didn't have to wait long to find a new organization. The veteran nose tackle played in 13 regular-season contests between Houston and Tennessee last year, totaling 24 tackles (17 solo), including one sack. He should have a role in the Chargers' defensive-line rotation when the regular season rolls around.

Teair Tart: Let go by Miami
Tart was released by the Dolphins on Tuesday.
Tart signed with Miami in April, but he will now look for another opportunity elsewhere. The defensive lineman spent the 2023 campaign with the Texans and Titans, recording 24 total tackles, including a sack, over 13 contests.
