Bengals' Erick All: One catch in preseason finale
All caught his lone target for 10 yards in Thursday's 27-14 preseason loss to the Colts.
All also blocked well, as the rookie fourth-round pick got a chance to showcase his versatile skill set while the Bengals' top skill players got the night off. Having recovered from a torn ACL that he suffered in October at Iowa, All will almost certainly earn a spot on Cincinnati's 53-man roster, but the tight end's likely to begin his career in a depth role behind some combination of Mike Gesicki, Drew Sample and Tanner Hudson when the Bengals begin regular-season play Sept. 8 against the Patriots.

Bengals' Erick All: Brought off NFI list
The Bengals activated All (knee) from the active/non-football injury list Sunday.
All has been recovering from a torn ACL suffered last October, and he opened training camp on the active/NFI list on July 20. The rookie fourth-round pick out of Iowa will now be cleared to practice for the first time after finally passing a physical examination. All logged 21 catches for 299 yards and three touchdowns over just seven games during his final collegiate season. He will look to ramp up in time for the Bengals' first preseason game Saturday, Aug. 10 versus Tampa Bay.

Bengals' Erick All: Put on active/NFI list
The Bengals placed All (knee) on the active/non-football injury list Saturday.
All tore the ACL in his right knee last October, but that didn't prevent Cincinnati from selecting him in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. It's not clear how far along All in his recovery or whether he'll be ready to play by the start of the regular season. However, he can be activated off the NFI list at any point during training camp, at which point he'd be able to practice and play in preseason contests.

Bengals' Erick All: Added to Cincy's TE corps
The Bengals selected All (knee) in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 115th overall.
Despite tearing the ACL in his right knee in October and requiring surgery, All still became the sixth tight end off the board in this year's draft. All actually led Iowa in receiving yards (299) and touchdowns (three) in 2023 despite playing in just seven games, but that may be more of an indictment of the Iowa offense. The injury prevented All from testing at the NFL Scouting Combine or Iowa's pro day, and his lengthy injury history -- including spinal surgery in 2022 -- is a concern. However, All's numbers when healthy during his five-year college career were always impressive dating back to his time at Michigan, where he began his career before transferring to Iowa. Cincinnati has an interesting tight end room that lacks star power, so if he's 100 percent at some point in 2024, All could get onto the field.
