Seahawks' Charles Cross: Ramping up participation
Cross (finger) participated in 11-on-11 team drills at practice Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official website reports.
Cross has been slowly ramping up his participation at practice recently. Head coach Mike Macdonald described the offensive tackle as someone that "wants to do everything" and it seems like he's progressing well. Cross underwent surgery to repair a dislocated finger in late July, but he remains on track to be available for the team's regular-season opener Sept. 7 versus the 49ers.

Seahawks' Charles Cross: Undergoes finger surgery
Cross underwent surgery Thursday to repair a dislocated finger but is expected to be ready for the Seahawks' Week 1 season opener against the 49ers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Despite practicing with the injury, Cross took the opportunity to fix the issue ahead of the start of the regular season. Cross started all 17 regular-season contests for Seattle last season and should once again man left tackle, this time protecting Sam Darnold's blind side.
