Colts' Kwity Paye: Gets fifth year
Paye had the fifth-year option on his contract exercised Thursday, Nate Atkins of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Paye had a successful third NFL season in 2023, recording career highs across the board, with 52 combined tackles, including 8.5 sacks. He also forced and recovered two fumbles. The Michigan product should now remain an integral part of the Colts' pass rush for the next two seasons.

Paye notched 52 tackles (31 solo), 8.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries across 16 regular-season appearances in 2023.
Paye solidified himself as one of the Colts' more exceptional defensive players in 2023, setting a new career-best sack threshold.
