Browns' Tony Fields: Practices in full Tuesday
Fields (foot) returned to practice as a full participant in Tuesday's session, Brad Stainbrook of 247Sports.com reports.
Fields has been limited in practice due to a foot injury, and he has not suited up for either of Cleveland's two preseason contests. The 2021 fifth-round linebacker has split his snaps between defense and special teams over the last two seasons, and he figures to serve in a similar role for the Browns in 2024.

Fields spent time in the medical tent on Cleveland's sideline before leaving for the locker room, though it's unclear exactly what type of issue he is dealing with. The 2021 fifth-round pick tallied 48 tackles and a pick-six over 17 games in 2022, and, when healthy, he should slot in as a backup behind starting weakside linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah.

Browns' Tony Fields: Sets another career high in loss
Fields recorded 10 tackles (six solo) in Saturday's 17-10 loss to the Saints.
For the second consecutive game, Fields set a new career high (10) in the tackling department, after he amassed a career-high six stops versus Baltimore the week prior. The second-year pro has benefitted from the absences of fellow linebackers Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (foot), Jacob Phillips (pectoral), Anthony Walker (quadriceps) and Sione Takitaki (knee) over the last few weeks, and Fields should continue to do so when the Browns square off against Washington on New Year's Day.

Browns' Tony Fields: Tests positive for virus
Fields tested positive for the coronavirus Friday and will be placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
The transaction effectively rules Fields out for Saturday's game against the Raiders, as he's unlikely to test out of the protocol in just over 24 hours, even if vaccinated. With Mack Wilson also testing positive for the virus Friday and Anthony Walker and Jacob Phillips also on the reserve/COVID-19 list, the Browns will likely be left with Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, Malcolm Smith, Sione Takitaki and Elijah Lee as their available linebackers for Week 15.
