Farmer is healthy again after sitting out the Week 11 win over the Jets with an ankle injury. The 22-year-old is expected to resume his role as rotational defensive end during Sunday's matchup versus the Bengals.

Farmer was limited in Monday's walkthrough and was unable to participate in practice Tuesday or Wednesday. The 22-year-old defensive end has between a 20 and 40 percent snap share in each game thus far. In his absence, Cory Durden should be in line for an increase in playing time.

Farmer is dealing with an ankle issue and didn't practice Tuesday or Wednesday. He hasn't been ruled out for Thursday, but his outlook isn't great considering the back-to-back DNPs. Farmer (ankle) did not practice Tuesday.
After being deemed a limited participant in Monday's walkthrough, Farmer downgraded to DNP on Tuesday. That's not a promising sign ahead of Thursday's matchup versus the Jets, though the rookie defensive tackle could play if he's able to get back to practicing in some capacity Wednesday. Farmer has logged between 18 percent and 38 percent of New England's defensive snaps in each game so far this season.

Patriots' Joshua Farmer: Goes to New England in fourth round
The Patriots selected Farmer in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 137th overall.
Farmer is a long-levered defensive tackle with 35-inch arms and good quickness off the ball. He can get to the passer from the defensive tackle spot, as exhibited by his 9.0 sacks over his final two years at Florida State. Look for Farmer to play a two-gap role for the Patriots.
