Rypien reunites with Minnesota after having been replaced by Daniel Jones on the active roster Tuesday. Rypien has been waived to make room for quarterback Daniel Jones on Minnesota's 53-man roster. The depth signal-caller has handled an emergency role for the Vikings all season behind Sam Darnold and Nick Mullens, but Jones has now usurped him as the No. 3 man. Rypien could resurface on Minnesota's practice squad.
