Phillips was cut from the Eagles' practice squad Wednesday.
Phillips' departure comes as Philadelphia opted to sign Siaki Ika to its practice squad. The 27-year-old has yet to appear in a game this season, but he did suit up five times for the Saints last year. He'll now have to work to find another opportunity.

The Saints signed Phillips on Monday.
Phillips had previously worked out with New Orleans last week and will now officially join the team. The 26-year-old has not appeared in a game since 2021 due to injury. Now healthy again, Phillips will look to compete for a spot as a reserve defender.

Kyle Phillips: Works out for Saints
Phillips (undisclosed) worked out for the Saints on Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Phillips appears healthy ahead of 2023 after he went down with an undisclosed injury late in the 2021 campaign and failed to appear in any contests throughout the 2022 season. Over three active years with the Jets from 2019-2021, the defensive end recorded a total of 65 tackles, including 2.5 sacks, over 29 contests.
