Titans' Dre'Mont Jones: Headed to Tennessee
The Titans signed Jones to a one-year, $10 million contract Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Jones appeared in all 17 regular-season games for the Seahawks in 2024, but his 28 combined tackles and 4.0 sacks were his fewest since his rookie year in 2019. He was released by Seattle on March 4, but it didn't take long for the 28-year-old defensive end to find a new team. Jones will likely start opposite Jeffery Simmons in 2025, though the former will get a push from Sebastian Joseph-Day during training camp.

Dre'Mont Jones: On way out of Seattle
The Seahawks released Jones on Tuesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Despite being healthy for all 17 games in 2024, Jones recorded his fewest sacks (four) since his 2019 rookie season. He shouldn't have much difficulty finding a rotational pass-rush role with a new team.

Jones saw his production dip in 2024, recording just 28 takedowns, his lowest total since his rookie campaign in 2019. The linebacker operated as a depth option behind Boye Mafe this season and will likely do so again in 2025, his final year under contract with the Seahawks.

Jones now has 4.0 sacks through 10 games, putting him just 2.5 sacks shy of the career high he posted in 2022. The 2019 third-round pick has handled less than a 55 percent snap share in three straight games, so his production will be tough to depend on moving forward.
