Commanders' Jeremy McNichols: Gets only six carries
McNichols took six carries for 32 yards in a 42-19 win over the Titans on Sunday.
McNichols didn't benefit much from Austin Ekeler's absence due to a concussion, with Brian Robinson getting most of the backfield touches early in the game and Chris Rodriguez then taking 11 carries during the fourth quarter. McNichols played 25 percent of snaps, well behind Robinson (47 percent) and slightly behind Rodriguez (28 percent), although the latter mostly played in the fourth quarter of a blowout. Ekeler will miss at least three more games after Washington's Week 14 bye, but any considerable fantasy value for McNichols might also require Robinson missing time.

Commanders' Jeremy McNichols: Elevated role likely against Titans
McNichols could be in line for a larger role Sunday against the Titans, as Austin Ekeler (concussion) won't play.
Both Ekeler and Brian Robinson (ankle) exited during Washington's Week 12 loss to the Cowboys, but Robinson has been cleared to suit up Sunday against the Titans. McNichols figures to work in the change-of-pace role usually filled by Ekeler when Washington's backfield is at full strength, though Chris Rodriguez could also enter the backfield mix.

Commanders' Jeremy McNichols: Sees action after Robinson exit
McNichols rushed three times for 22 yards in the Commanders' 34-26 loss to the Cowboys on Sunday.
McNichols rotated in for a handful of touches after Brian Robinson exited the game due to an ankle injury on two occasions, the second time for good shortly after halftime. McNichols' carry total was still modest due to Austin Ekeler and Jayden Daniels totaling 16 rush attempts between them in addition to Robinson's five, but with Ekeler also suffering a concussion late in Sunday's loss, it's conceivable it could fall to McNichols and Chris Rodriguez to helm Washington's ground attack for a Week 13 home matchup against the Titans.

Commanders' Jeremy McNichols: Takes four touches for six yards
McNichols had three carries for five yards and one catch for one yard in a 26-18 loss to the Eagles on Thursday.
McNichols played 17 percent of snaps on offense, putting him well behind fellow Washington running backs Brian Robinson (53 percent) and Austin Ekeler (52 percent). McNichols had a slightly larger role the previous two weeks with Robinson sidelined by a hamstring injury, but even then the Commanders got Chris Rodriguez involved and kept it as a three-man backfield. McNichols is unlikely to see more than a handful of touches Week 12 against Dallas.

Commanders' Jeremy McNichols: Four carries in loss
McNichols carried the ball four times for seven yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 28-27 loss to the Steelers.
McNichols operated as the No. 2 running back behind Austin Ekeler Sunday with Brian Robinson (hamstring) sidelined for the contest. Though he was limited to just four carries, the 28-year-old was able to find the end zone for the fourth time this season. Even if Robinson were to miss a third-straight game in Week 11, McNichols' limited usage makes him extremely difficult to trust for fantasy purposes in a matchup against Philadelphia.

Commanders' Jeremy McNichols: Benefits from Robinson's absence
McNichols rushed the ball eight times for 20 yards in Sunday's 27-22 win over the Giants.
McNichols matched his season high with eight rushing attempts as he shifted up the depth chart in the absence of Brian Robinson (hamstring). McNichols was less effective than both Austin Ekeler and Chris Rodriguez, which could affect his usage moving forward even if Robinson remains sidelined for a Week 10 matchup against the Steelers.

Commanders' Jeremy McNichols: Scarcely involved in Week 8 win
McNichols rushed once for minus-one yards in Sunday's 18-15 win over the Bears.
McNichols played just seven percent of offensive snaps versus Chicago, his lowest total since Week 2. Brian Thomas (58 percent of snaps) and Austin Ekeler (47 percent of snaps) remain the clear top options in the Commanders' backfield, but if either misses time, McNichols will be first in line for added opportunities. From Week 4 to Week 7, McNichols rushed for at least 40 yards in three of four contests.

Commanders' Jeremy McNichols: Handles seven carries
McNichols rushed seven times for 42 yards in Sunday's 40-7 win over the Panthers.
On a day when the Commanders dominated the Panthers, McNichols saw some added carries as Washington's No. 3 running back. The 28-year-old played just 17 of the Commanders' 69 offensive snaps in the contest behind Austin Ekeler (28) and Brian Robinson (26). Heading into a Week 8 matchup with Chicago, McNichols doesn't hold much value for fantasy with both Robinson and Ekeler healthy.

Commanders' Jeremy McNichols: Gets only two touches
McNichols took two carries for nine yards in a 30-23 loss to Baltimore on Sunday.
McNichols had 118 total yards and three TDs on 15 touches over the previous two games, taking on extra work with Austin Ekeler and then Brian Robinson (knee) limited/absent due to injuries. Robinson missed Sunday's game in Baltimore, but the Commanders didn't attempt many rushes against a stout run defense, and McNichols finished without a target despite playing 39 percent of snaps and running 17 routes (just three fewer than Ekeler). McNichols will almost certainly get more touches if Robinson misses another contest Week 7 against Carolina, but Ekeler would still be the much safer bet for volume and production.
