Jaguars' Evan Engram: Listed as questionable for Sunday
Rotowire
Engram (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bears after practicing in a limited fashion this week, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Adam Schefter of ESPN relayed earlier this week that coach Doug Pederson expressed optimism that Engram would be available this weekend. However, given that the TE is officially listed as questionable, his Week 6 status won't be confirmed until the Jaguars' inactives are posted ahead of Sunday's 9:30 a.m. ET kickoff in London.

Jaguars' Evan Engram: Remains limited in practice
Rotowire
Engram (hamstring) was a limited practice participant Thursday.
Engram was a limited participant all of last week and has now repeated that status in back-to-back practices this week. Coach Doug Pederson was optimistic Monday about Engram's chances of playing this Sunday against the Bears in London, but fantasy managers still need to treat the tight end as an unknown for the time being.

Jaguars' Evan Engram: Bust Alert (Start/Sit)
Rotowire
Engram is returning from a four-game absence from a hamstring injury, and I need to see him perform at a high level before calling him a must-start Fantasy tight end. He played in Week 1 at Miami and caught one pass for 5 yards on four targets. Brian Thomas Jr. has become the go-to option in Jacksonville's passing game, and Christian Kirk has a prominent role as well. It's worth stashing Engram if you can carry two tight ends, but I don't consider him a must-start Fantasy option in Week 6 against the Bears in London. Chicago is also No. 8 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends, and the Bears haven't allowed a tight end to score a touchdown since Week 1.

Jaguars' Evan Engram: Logs limited practice Wednesday
Rotowire
Engram (hamstring) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.
Engram hasn't played in a game since injuring his hamstring in pregame warmups ahead of the Jaguars' Week 2 loss to the Browns, but head coach Doug Pederson said earlier this week that the tight end has a "pretty good" chance of playing this weekend against the Bears in London, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. The Jaguars will wait and see if Engram is able to upgrade to full participation in practice Thursday or Friday before deciding whether he takes a designation into Sunday.

Jaguars' Evan Engram: Coach optimistic for Week 6
Rotowire
Coach Doug Pederson said Monday that he's optimistic Engram (hamstring) will be cleared to play Sunday against the Bears in London, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Engram hasn't played since injuring his hamstring in pregame warmups for Week 2, but last season's league leader in receptions among tight ends (114) is nearing a return. Brenton Strange has posted 120 receiving yards and two touchdowns over the last four games while filling in for Engram. If Pederson's optimism is backed up by full practice participation from Engram once the Jaguars begin their Week 6 preparation Wednesday, the tight end may be able to avoid the injury report altogether.

Jaguars' Evan Engram: Missing fourth straight game
Rotowire
Engram (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Colts.
Engram took a step forward in his recovery from a hamstring injury this week by logging a trio of limited practices, but the Jaguars determined that the tight end needed at least one more game off to heal up. With Engram out for a fourth straight contest, Brenton Strange should serve as the Jaguars' top pass-catching tight end. Engram's absence could also open up more looks in the short and intermediate areas of the field for Christian Kirk, who has amassed 22 targets over the past two contests.

Jaguars' Evan Engram: Trending toward not playing
Rotowire
Engram (hamstring), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts, is not expected to play, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Engram sustained the hamstring injury during pregame warmups back in Week 2, and the talented tight end looks as though he'll miss a fourth consecutive game as a result. He had been a limited participant in practices Wednesday through Friday, but the Jaguars may want to see Engram upgrade to full participation before clearing him for game action. Brenton Strange has taken over as the clear starter in Engram's absence, tallying eight catches for 96 yards and a touchdown across 14 targets over the past three contests.

Jaguars' Evan Engram: Status in question for Sunday
Rotowire
Engram (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Colts, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Engram has been sidelined since he sustained a hamstring injury during pregame warmups before a Week 2 matchup with the Browns, but three consecutive limited practices this week put him on a path to return this Sunday. His status will be confirmed, one way or another, approximately 90 minutes before a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, and it remains to be seen what kind of workload he can handle if he's deemed active.

Jaguars' Evan Engram: Churns out limited practice
Rotowire
Engram (hamstring) was a limited practice participant Thursday.
Engram hasn't played since Week 1, but with two straight limited practices to begin Week 5 prep, he's putting himself in a position to put an end to his three-game absence Sunday versus the Colts. In order to avoid being listed as questionable heading into the weekend, however, Engram will likely need to upgrade to full participation in Friday's practice.

Jaguars' Evan Engram: Returns to limited practice
Rotowire
Engram (hamstring) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Engram, who last saw game action Week 1, was unable to practice last week, so his involvement in Wednesday's session offers hope that he could play Sunday against the Colts. The tight end has two more chances to increase his practice participation ahead of the contest, though he'll presumably need to put in a full session by Friday in order to avoid a Week 5 injury designation.

Jaguars' Evan Engram: Ruled out this week
Rotowire
Engram (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Texans.
Engram, who last saw game action Week 1, thus will target a potential return to action Sunday, Oct. 6 against the Colts. In Engram's continued absence, Brenton Strange once again is slated to lead the Jaguars' TE corps this weekend.

Jaguars' Evan Engram: Unlikely to play against Houston
Rotowire
Speaking with the media Friday, coach Doug Pederson said Engram (hamstring) is doubtful to play Sunday against the Texans, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Injured in pregame warmups ahead of Week 2, Engram hasn't practiced since and remains a question mark ahead of Week 5 against the Colts. Brenton Strange has started in Engram's place the last two weeks, reeling in five of 11 targets for 77 yards and one touchdown. Strange remains a fringe TE1 or TE2 for fantasy purposes for however long Engram is sidelined.

Jaguars' Evan Engram: Misses another practice
Rotowire
Engram (hamstring) remained sidelined at practice Thursday.
Engram also missed Wednesday's session, which sets the stage for Friday's practice to be pivotal in terms of the tight end's chances of suiting up Sunday against the Texans. If Engram is forced to miss another contest, Brenton Strange would once again be in line to see added opportunities in Jacksonville's passing offense this weekend.

Jaguars' Evan Engram: Misses practice Wednesday
Rotowire
Engram (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday.
Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson acknowledged Tuesday that it'll be a close call on whether Engram will be able to play Sunday against the Texans, after the tight end missed both of the team's previous two contests, according to Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com. If Engram is sidelined for a third straight game this weekend, Brenton Strange would be in line to continue to see added opportunities in Jacksonville's offense.

Jaguars' Evan Engram: Status for Week 4 uncertain
Rotowire
Coach Doug Pederson said Tuesday "it'll be close" when asked whether Engram (hamstring) will be ready to retake the field for Sunday's divisional matchup against the Texans, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
Engram has missed back-to-back games due to a hamstring injury and now faces a short week of rest to try and get healthy in time for Sunday's pivotal road matchup against Houston. The veteran tight end hasn't yet resumed practicing in any capacity since injuring his hamstring during a Week 2 pregame warmup. With Engram unavailable during Monday's 47-10 loss to the Bills, Brenton Strange started at tight end and hauled in two of five targets for 12 yards and a touchdown, the second score of his career.

Jaguars' Evan Engram: Out ahead of Monday's contest
Rotowire
Engram (hamstring) will not play in Monday's game against the Bills, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
This felt like the unfortunate conclusion for Engram's opportunity to play in Week 3 given the tight end had not practiced at all during the week. Brenton Strange will once again operate as the team's starter and will attempt to build on his career outing from last week when he tallied 65 yards on three catches.

Jaguars' Evan Engram: Not trending toward playing
Rotowire
Head coach Doug Pederson suggested Saturday that Engram (hamstring) would not play in Monday's contest against the Bills, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
The Jaguars will list their official final injury report later in the day, but this shouldn't be a surprising development for fantasy managers given Engram has failed to practice at any point this week. Expect Brenton Strange to once again fill in for Engram, if he's inevitably ruled out. Strange, a second-year tight end, tallied 65 yards on three catches as the emergency fill-in last week.
Engram (hamstring) didn't practice Friday.
Engram has missed Jacksonville's first two practices in preparation for Monday's game against the Bills after getting hurt in pregame warmups ahead of the team's Week 2 loss to the Browns. Brenton Strange filled in atop Jacksonville's tight end depth chart and posted 65 receiving yards in Engram's absence. While Engram will have one more chance to take the practice field Saturday before Jacksonville publishes its Week 3 injury report, his fantasy managers should start lining up alternatives, as Engram appears to be trending toward another absence.

Jaguars' Evan Engram: Misses practice Thursday
Rotowire
Engram (hamstring) didn't practice Thursday, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
After suffering a hamstring injury in pregame warmups, Engram missed this past Sunday's loss to the Browns. According to Harvey, head coach Doug Pederson acknowledged prior to Thursday's session that Engram is "a little bit further away," and the tight end's inability to take any reps doesn't inspire much early confidence that he'll be ready to play Monday against the Bills. Engram has two more chances to log some practice activity before the Jaguars post their final Week 3 injury report Saturday.

Jaguars' Evan Engram: Week 3 status TBD
Rotowire
Coach Doug Pederson noted Monday that there's a degree of optimism with regard to Engram's hamstring issue but acknowledged that it may be a "week-to-week" deal for the tight end.
Though Engram was not among the Jaguars' initial inactives prior to Sunday's loss to the Browns, he suffered a setback during warmups and then was deemed out by the team ahead of kickoff time. For now, Pederson indicated that the Jaguars will have to "see where (Engram) is this week," but at this stage the tight end's status for the next Monday's tilt against the Bills is cloudy. If Engram is unavailable Week 3, Brenton Strange and Luke Farrell once again would be in line for added snaps.
