Jaguars' Jourdan Lewis: Won't play Week 10
Lewis (neck) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Texans.
Lewis suffered what was originally listed as a shoulder injury during the Jaguars' Week 9 overtime win over the Raiders. It has since been diagnosed as a neck injury, which prevented him from practicing all week and being sidelined for Sunday's road contest. Jarrian Jones should see more snaps at corner in Lewis' absence.

Jaguars' Jourdan Lewis: Not practicing
Lewis (shoulder) was not spotted at Wednesday's practice, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
Lewis was forced out of Jacksonville's narrow Week 9 win over the Raiders early due to a shoulder issue, and it looks like his availability for Sunday's road matchup against the Texans is uncertain as a result. After Lewis' early departure versus Las Vegas and with Travis Hunter (knee) on IR, Jarrian Jones stepped into a starting role on defense and tallied a season-high 10 tackles (six solo) plus one pass defensed.

Jaguars' Jourdan Lewis: Exits with shoulder injury
Lewis (shoulder) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Raiders.
Lewis sustained the injury early in the first quarter while making a tackle attempt on Ashton Jeanty, and the former is having his shoulder evaluated by medical staff to determine whether he can return to Sunday's game. Christian Braswell and Jarrian Jones are in line for more defensive snaps for as long as Lewis is out of the game.

Jaguars' Jourdan Lewis: Two tackles in victory
Lewis recorded two tackles (two solo) in the Jaguars' win over the 49ers on Sunday.
Lewis has been terrific across his first four games with the Jaguars after signing with the team in free agency. He's been one of the best cover corners in the leagues through four weeks and has logged 19 tackles (13 solo), including three TFLs, six pass breakups, including a pair of interceptions, and one fumble recovery on 100 percent of Jacksonvilles' defensive snaps.

Jaguars' Jourdan Lewis: Nabs second interception
Lewis posted four tackles (three solo) and two pass defenses, including an interception, in Sunday's 17-10 Week 3 win against Houston.
Lewis came up with a big interception early in the fourth quarter, picking off C.J. Stroud with Jacksonville holding a 10-3 lead and the Texans approaching the red zone. It was his second pick of the campaign and his league-leading sixth defensed pass. Lewis has been perhaps the most impressive part of a Jaguars defense that leads the NFL with seven interceptions on the campaign.

Jaguars' Jourdan Lewis: Shows out in Week 1
Lewis posted five total tackles (three solo) and three passes defended, including one interception, in Sunday's 26-10 win over the Panthers.
Lewis immediately proved why Jacksonville made him the NFL's highest-paid nickel cornerback this past offseason, leading the team in passes defended while also picking off Bryce Young in the fourth quarter of Sunday's win. The Michigan product spent his 2024 campaign with the Cowboys, logging 71 total tackles and eight passes defended, including one interception, and one forced fumble across 16 games. He's expected to remain one of the Jags' top defensive playmakers in a Week 2 matchup against the Saints.
