Patriots' Marcus Cannon: Goes on IR
Cannon (concussion) was placed on injured reserve Saturday.
Cannon's absence over the next four weeks or more will certainly be a blow to the team's offensive line depth. The veteran tackle has made four starts for the team this season at tackle. While he is out, Yodny Cajuste is in line to be the Patriots' primary backup at the position.

Patriots' Marcus Cannon: Sidelined by concussion
Cannon (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Colts, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
Cannon popped up on the injury report Thursday after beginning the week without an injury designation. He was quickly ruled out thereafter, which isn't a significant surprise given the lack of time for him to clear the league's concussion protocol. David Andrews (concussion) will also be sidelined, which will leave New England's offensive line shorthanded.

Marcus Cannon: Let go by Texans
Cannon was cut by the Texans on Monday, Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Cannon had a brief and injury-marred tenure with the Texans after being traded from New England in March 2021. He managed to start only four games prior to a back injury ending his campaign, and he'll now look for another opportunity around the league.
