Durant (ankle) will play in Friday's game versus the Jazz, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
Durant will return to action Friday after missing Phoenix's last three outings due to a sprained left ankle. The superstar forward should reclaim his starting spot from Royce O'Neale against Utah. The Suns are 1-9 without Durant in the lineup, including three straight losses during his most recent absence, but they're 11-2 when the veteran is in the starting lineup this season.

Coach Mike Budenholzer stated that Durant (ankle) logged 90 percent participation in Wednesday's practice, Dana Scott of AZ Central reports. His next opportunity to take the court comes Friday versus Utah.
Durant approaching full practice bodes well for an imminent return. The 36-year-old has been sidelined for Phoenix's last three contests -- all of which have been losses -- after spraining his left ankle in a Dec. 3 victory over San Antonio.

Plumlee made his third start in a row while filling in for the injured Jusuf Nurkic (calf). In those games, Plumlee was a serviceable fantasy streamer with averages of 4.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.7 steals and 2.0 blocks. He could be worth a look again if Nurkic is unable to return Dec. 13 against the Jazz.

Suns' Tyus Jones: Nails five triples in defeat
Jones contributed 21 points (7-16 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and six assists across 34 minutes during Sunday's 115-110 loss to the Magic.
With his 21-point showing Sunday, Jones fell one point shy of his season-high scoring mark set during a Nov. 10 loss to the Kings. He's now hit double-digit scoring figures in nine of his last 10 contests, a span in which Jones is averaging 14.6 points, 7.6 assists, 1.6 steals and 2.7 three-pointers in 32.3 minutes per game. The veteran floor general should remain a solid source of points, dimes, triples and steals with strong shooting splits for fantasy managers as a facilitator for the likes of Devin Booker and Bradley Beal in Phoenix's starting lineup, and he'll continue to experience an uptick in usage while Kevin Durant (ankle) sits on the shelf.

Suns' Bradley Beal: Efficient 18 points Sunday
Beal amassed 18 points (8-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal in 35 minutes before fouling out of Sunday's 115-110 loss to the Magic.
It was a strong effort out of Beal, who has now scored at least 15 points in eight of his last nine games. In five appearances with Kevin Durant (ankle) unavailable this season, Beal is now averaging 21.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.2 steals, 0.8 blocks and 2.0 three-pointers per contest. Beal should continue to have more ball-handling responsibilities on his plate while Durant remains sidelined, and the 31-year-old star guard has a favorable matchup Friday against a Jazz club that ranks 28th in the league in defensive efficiency rating (117.9).

Suns' Devin Booker: Team-high 25 points in loss
Booker registered 25 points (8-21 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 8-9 FT), four rebounds, seven assists and four steals across 38 minutes during Sunday's 115-110 loss to Orlando.
Booker led the way for the Suns in scoring and assists Sunday, and his four steals set a new season-high figure. In 10 games with Kevin Durant (ankle) out of action this season, Booker is now averaging 25.2 points, 5.8 assists, 3.3 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 2.3 three-pointers in 37.1 minutes per contest. Fantasy managers might have to deal with more inefficient shooting nights from the field out of Booker with defenses focusing more on him in Durant's continued absence, but the 28-year-old superstar guard should have more upside when it comes to compiling counting stats in the meantime.

Suns' Grayson Allen: Suffers ankle injury
Allen twisted his ankle during Sunday's 115-110 loss to the Magic and will be re-evaluated Monday, Amanda Pflugrad of 3TV Phoenix reports.
The severity of Allen's injury likely won't be uncovered until his re-evaluation is completed, but fortunately, the Suns don't play again until Friday against the Magic. He'll be considered day-to-day until the team has more information to share. Allen played 22 minutes in Sunday's loss, finishing with 13 points (3-3 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal.

Allen converted a season-high five three-pointers in the loss during a night where his shot attempts were limited to the perimeter. Allen recorded 30 minutes in defeat, and he should continue to hover around that number while the team struggles with injuries.
