Rockets' Dillon Brooks: Under the weather
Brooks is listed as questionable for Saturday's NBA Cup Semifinals matchup with the Thunder due to an illness, Ben DuBose of USA Today reports.
Brooks' status Saturday will depend how he is feeling closer to game time. If he is ultimately unable to play, Amen Thompson and Tari Eason would be candidates to absorb his minutes, while Cam Whitmore and Reed Sheppard could also see some run as well.

Rockets' Jabari Smith: Quality outing in win
Smith totaled 15 points (6-11 FG, 3-8 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and two blocks in 38 minutes during Wednesday's 91-90 victory over the Warriors.
Smith has now recorded double-digit points in back-to-back games. However, the 21-year-old forward's season averages of 11.6 points and 6.8 rebounds are down from 13.7 and 8.1, respectively, from last year.

Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Records another double-double
Sengun chipped in 26 points (10-18 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-7 FT), 11 rebounds, five assists and three steals across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 91-90 victory over the Warriors.
Sengun's team-high 11 rebounds and 26 points helped him record his 17th double-double of the season. Across his last 10 outings, Sengun is averaging 20.8 points, 10.0 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.5 steals in 33.1 minutes.

Rockets' Tari Eason: Grabs seven boards in return
Eason (concussion) tallied nine points (4-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt), seven rebounds and one assist in 24 minutes Wednesday in the Rockets' 91-90 win over the Warriors.
Eason had missed the Rockets' previous two games while in the NBA's concussion protocol, but he was cleared to play in advance of Wednesday's NBA Cup matchup. The Rockets ran a short rotation that didn't include either Steven Adams or Jock Landale, so Eason ended up picking up some playing time as a small-ball center when Alperen Sengun was off the court. Eason is likely to see more of his playing time as a backup forward in future games, but his minutes should continue to hold steady in the 20-to-25 range. He didn't contribute any defensive statistics Wednesday, but his season-long averages of 2.0 steals and 1.0 blocks have made him a roster-worthy option in category leagues of 12 teams or deeper.

Thompson will come off the bench for Wednesday's game against the Warriors, Lachard Binkley of TheDreamShake.com reports.
Thompson made a spot start Sunday with Fred VanVleet sidelined, but he'll rejoin the reserves with VanVleet healthy Wednesday. Thompson is averaging 11.4 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals across 26.2 minutes per game off the bench.

Rockets' Jae'Sean Tate: Available Wednesday
Tate (back) is available for Wednesday's game against the Warriors, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Tate was one of several Houston players who were listed questionable for this NBA Cup matchup, but his availability suggests he should be good to see minutes off the bench. However, injuries have limited Tate to just nine appearances and 6.2 minutes per game since the beginning of November. He's not likely to see a significant role off the bench in this contest.

Rockets' Steven Adams: Officially active Wednesday
Adams (knee) will play Wednesday versus the Golden State, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Adams will suit up for a sixth consecutive contest, bringing Houston to full strength as Alperen Sengun (knee) has been cleared as well. Adams is averaging 2.8 points and 4.2 rebounds in 10.2 minutes across his last five appearances.

Rockets' Cam Whitmore: Cleared for Wednesday
Whitmore (wrist) will play in Wednesday's NBA Cup matchup with the Warriors, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Whitmore has been dealing with a bruised left wrist, but he'll be available for Wednesday's tilt. The second-year forward has appeared in one NBA game since Nov. 6 and is unlikely to crack the rotation Wednesday.

Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Good to go
Sengun (knee) will play in Wednesday's NBA Cup Quarterfinals game against Golden State, Lachard Binkley of TheDreamShake.com reports.
Sengun was questionable to play due to soreness in his left knee, but he's been given the green light to suit up Wednesday. In two matchups with the Warriors this season, Sengun is averaging 15.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 combined steals-plus-blocks across 25.0 minutes.

Rockets' Cam Whitmore: Questionable for Wednesday
Whitmore is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Warriors due to a left wrist contusion.
Whitmore hasn't played for the Rockets since Nov. 20, as he's spent most of the past three weeks in the G League with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Even if he's cleared to play through the wrist issue Wednesday, Whitmore may not be part of the rotation.
