Cavaliers' De'Andre Hunter: Struggles with shot Friday
Hunter registered 15 points (4-14 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and four rebounds in 27 minutes during Friday's 130-126 victory over the Wizards.
Hunter reached the 15-point mark for the first time in December, but he continues to struggle with his shot. The veteran forward plays a secondary role in the Cavaliers' offensive scheme, but his ability to knock down outside shots certainly opens up possibilities for others. Over five games in December, Hunter is averaging 11.0 points per game while shooting 35.3 percent from the floor and a mere 22.2 percent from three-point range.

Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Fourth straight double-double
Mobley finished with 23 points (7-17 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 7-9 FT), 13 rebounds and six assists over 36 minutes during Friday's 130-126 victory over the Wizards.
Mobley has been a consistent source of points and rebounds for the Cavaliers this season. This was his fourth straight double-double, and he's reached that feat in eight of his last 10 games. He's not going to unsettle Donovan Mitchell as the team's primary scoring option, but his consistency has been remarkable. Over his last 10 games, Mobley is averaging 19.5 points, 10.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.9 blocks per contest.

Cavaliers' Darius Garland: Scores 18 points
Garland produced 18 points (6-17 FG, 0-11 3Pt, 6-7 FT), three rebounds, six assists and two steals over 35 minutes during Friday's 130-126 win over the Wizards.
Donovan Mitchell stole the show with a 48-point performance Friday, but Garland still found a way to post a decent stat line despite struggling with his shot. The star floor general has been playing regularly in recent weeks but has faced some limitations, although the fact that he's logged over 30 minutes in his last two games bodes well for the future. Garland has scored at least 15 points in four of his past five outings.

Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Scores season-high 48 points
Mitchell delivered 48 points (17-31 FG, 8-15 3Pt, 6-6 FT), four rebounds, four assists and two steals across 35 minutes in Friday's 130-126 win over the Wizards.
Mitchell had to step up for the Cavaliers in a game that turned out to be more complicated than expected, and the star guard posted a new season-high scoring mark in this win. This was Mitchell's fourth game with more than 40 points this season.

Ball (knee/rest) isn't on the injury report ahead of Friday's game against the Wizards.

Cavaliers' Sam Merrill: Remaining out vs. Wizards

Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Ruled out for Friday
Allen (finger) is out for Friday's game against the Wizards.
Allen managed to practice in full Tuesday, but he's still not yet ready for game action. Thomas Bryant and Dean Wade should continue to pick up the slack in Allen's absence.

Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Goes through practice Tuesday
Allen (finger) fully practiced Tuesday, according to Cavaliers reporter Danny Cunningham.
Allen appears to be trending in the right direction following a five-game absence. The Cavaliers don't play again until Friday against the Wizards, giving the center even more time to ramp back up to 100 percent.

Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Double-doubles in loss
Mobley had 18 points (8-19 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 35 minutes during Saturday's 99-94 loss to the Warriors.
Mobley delivered an abysmal performance from beyond the arc, though he still finished as Cleveland's second-leading scorer. The big man was also active on the glass, securing his third consecutive double-double and 12th on the season. Additionally, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year chipped in at least one block for a fourth straight game and is averaging 1.7 swats per tilt through 24 regular-season outings.

Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Double-doubles in defeat
Tyson recorded 11 points (5-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt), 11 rebounds and three assists over 34 minutes during Saturday's 99-94 loss to the Warriors.
Tyson got the starting nod for a fifth consecutive contest with several of Cleveland's key contributors remaining on the shelf. While the second-year swingman struggled from beyond the arc, he still scored in double figures for a fifth straight game. Additionally, he grabbed 11 boards, securing his second double-double on the campaign, both of which have come in his last four outings. He has also been efficient from the field of late, shooting 56.7 percent from the floor over his last five games.

Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Leads Cleveland in loss
Mitchell registered 29 points (11-26 FG, 7-14 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists and one block in 37 minutes during Saturday's 99-94 loss to the Warriors.
Mitchell wasn't shy about hunting his shot Saturday and ended two field-goal attempts short of matching his season-high mark. He knocked down at least seven triples for the third time this season. The star guard led all players in points and has now racked up at least 28 in four consecutive games to kick off December. Over that stretch, he has averaged 33.3 points, 5.5 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game.

Cavaliers' Nae'Qwan Tomlin: Not starting Saturday
Tomlin won't start against the Warriors on Saturday.
With Darius Garland (toe) back in action, Tomlin will slide to the second unit against Golden State. Over his last five outings off the bench, the second-year forward has averaged 7.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks across 21.6 minutes per game.

Cavaliers' Tyrese Proctor: Out for Saturday
Proctor (personal) won't suit up for Saturday's game versus the Warriors.
Proctor will miss his second straight game due to personal reasons Saturday, and for now, he should be considered questionable for Friday's matchup with the Wizards. The rookie is not a large enough part of the rotation in Cleveland for his absence from the active roster to impact fantasy leagues.

Cavaliers' Sam Merrill: Still out
Merrill (hand) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Warriors.
Merrill hasn't played since Nov. 17, when he dropped 20 points (7-10 FG) in 28 minutes during a 118-106 win over the Bucks. It's unclear when he'll suit up next, but he'll have a few days off before the Cavaliers return to action during their NBA Cup consolation schedule.

Cavaliers' Lonzo Ball: Out Saturday
Ball (knee/rest) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Warriors.
As expected, Ball will take a seat for the second half of Cleveland's back-to-back set after posting two points (1-2 FG), six rebounds, five assists and three steals in 22 minutes during a 130-117 win over the Spurs on Friday. The point guard should return to action next week during Cleveland's NBA Cup consolation schedule.

Cavaliers' Darius Garland: Ready to roll Saturday
Garland (toe) isn't listed on Cleveland's injury report for Saturday's game against the Warriors.
As expected, Garland will return to action Saturday after sitting out the first half of Cleveland's back-to-back set -- a convincing win over the Spurs on Friday. The star point guard has appeared in only eight games this season, averaging 13.6 points, 6.5 assists and 2.8 rebounds in 27.8 minutes per contest.
