Celtics' Baylor Scheierman: Probable for Saturday
Scheierman (ankle) is probable for Saturday's game versus Washington.
Scheierman has a mild sprain but intends to push through it. With Jayson Tatum back in action for Saturday, Scheierman will likely retreat to the bench.

Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Good to go for Saturday
Tatum (Achilles) will be available for Saturday's game against Washington.
After getting a maintenance day Thursday against the Thunder, Tatum will be back in action for Saturday's contest. Through two games, he's averaging 19.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.0 steals and 3.0 three-pointers.

Celtics' Derrick White: Probable for Saturday
White (knee) is probable for Saturday's game versus the Wizards.
White is on track to return from a one-game absence Saturday evening, which will likely result in Payton Pritchard heading back to the second unit. Check back for official confirmation on White's status closer to Saturday's tipoff.

Celtics' Hugo Gonzalez: Productive off bench Thursday
Gonzalez notched 11 points (4-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals over 28 minutes off the bench during Thursday's 104-102 loss to the Thunder.
With Jayson Tatum (Achilles) and Derrick White (knee) getting maintenance days, Gonzalez saw a significant workload with the second unit and scored in double digits for only the fourth time since the calendar flipped to 2026. The rookie forward has played 25-plus minutes in the last three games Tatum has missed, averaging 12.3 points, 9.0 boards, 2.0 threes, 1.7 steals, 1.7 blocks and 1.0 assists in 29.3 minutes.

Celtics' Jaylen Brown: Pours in 34 in Thursday's loss
Brown finished with 34 points (10-25 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 13-14 FT), six rebounds, seven assists, one block and two steals across 41 minutes during Thursday's 104-102 loss to Oklahoma City.
In a potential NBA Finals preview, Brown didn't have Jayson Tatum (Achilles) at his side but nearly pulled off a road upset himself, as no other Celtic scored more than 14 points. Brown has delivered at least 20 points in 14 of 15 games since the beginning of February, falling short in the 15th only due to an early ejection. Over that stretch, the 29-year-old forward is averaging 25.6 points, 8.1 boards, 6.1 assists, 1.6 threes and 0.9 steals.

Scheierman will start Thursday versus the Thunder.
Scheierman is getting a spot-start due to Jayson Tatum (Achilles) taking a maintenance day. Through 16 starts this season, Scheierman has posted averages of 9.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.9 triples per game.

Celtics' Payton Pritchard: Starting Thursday
Pritchard is in the starting lineup for Thursday's matchup with the Thunder.
Pritchard is getting the start due to Derrick White (knee) being unavailable, and it'll be Jaylen Brown, Baylor Scheierman, Sam Hauser and Neemias Queta joining Pritchard in the first unit for Thursday's game. As a starter this season, he owns averages of 16.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 2.5 three-pointers per game.

Celtics' Derrick White: Won't go Thursday
White (knee) is out for Thursday's game against the Thunder, Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe reports.
White will take a seat for Thursday's action after picking up a bruised right knee. Payton Pritchard appears in line to make the start at point guard with White out of commission.

Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Sitting out Thursday
Tatum (Achilles) is out for Thursday's game against the Thunder.
Tatum will get a maintenance day against the Thunder after appearing in Boston's last three games. With this news, Baylor Scheierman, Sam Hauser and Hugo Gonzalez will have a chance to be more involved for Boston.

Celtics' Payton Pritchard: Upgraded to available
Pritchard (neck) is available for Thursday's game against the Thunder.
After sitting out Tuesday's loss to the Spurs due to neck spasms, Pritchard is ready to return Thursday. Over his last six games, the sharpshooter has averaged 13.8 points, 5.3 assists and 3.2 rebounds in 30.4 minutes per contest. Pritchard's return likely means less playing time for Ron Harper off the bench.

Celtics' Derrick White: Questionable vs OKC
White is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against Oklahoma City due to a right knee contusion, Zack Cox of the Boston Herald reports.
White has picked up a bruised right knee, and the issue could prevent him from facing the Thunder. The standout guard played 40 minutes in Tuesday's loss to San Antonio. If he can't play, Payton Pritchard (neck) would likely handle point guard duties.

Celtics' Payton Pritchard: Probable for Thursday
Pritchard is probable for Thursday's game against the Thunder due to a neck spasm, Zack Cox of the Boston Herald reports.
After missing Tuesday's loss to the Spurs, Pritchard is now expected to return to the floor Thursday. The sharpshooter has averaged 13.8 points, 5.3 assists and 3.2 rebounds in 30.4 minutes per contest in his last six games.

Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Iffy for Thursday
Tatum (Achilles) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Thunder, Zack Cox of the Boston Herald reports.
Tatum just got back from last year's Achilles rupture last week, so the Celtics are monitoring his workload. If the teams opts to hold the superstar forward out of action, Baylor Scheierman, Sam Hauser and Hugo Gonzalez would each have an opportunity to step up for Boston.

Celtics' Neemias Queta: Quiet in defeat
Queta racked up five points (1-3 FG, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one block across 19 minutes during Tuesday's 125-116 loss to the Spurs.
Luka Garza played five more minutes than Queta, who battled foul trouble and struggled against Victor Wembanyama. Queta has averaged 10.5 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 23.8 minutes per tilt in his last 10 games, shooting 62.1 percent from the field.

Celtics' Ron Harper: Efficient performance off bench
Harper notched 22 points (8-11 FG, 6-9 3Pt), three rebounds and two assists in 33 minutes during Tuesday's 125-116 loss to San Antonio.
With Payton Pritchard (neck) sidelined, Harper made the most of his expanded minutes off the bench Tuesday and thrived in the matchup against his brother, Dylan Harper, who plays for the Spurs. The older Harper delivered his best game of the season by a wide margin. His previous season-high scoring mark was 11 points, and this was just the second time he posted double-digit points in 2025-26. Despite the impressive performance Tuesday, Harper is not a player worth targeting in most fantasy formats since he doesn't have much of a role in the rotation and saw increased usage against San Antonio after Jaylen Brown was ejected. Through 19 appearances and two starts, Harper is averaging 4.1 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.7 assists on a mere 11.9 minutes per game.

Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Reaches 20-point mark once again
Tatum logged 24 points (10-24 FG, 4-14 3Pt), five rebounds, two assists and two steals in 27 minutes during Tuesday's 125-116 loss to the Spurs.
Tatum has played exactly 27 minutes in his three outings since making his season debut Friday in a 120-100 win over the Mavericks, but the star forward continues to show his game hasn't gone anywhere. For the third appearance in a row, Tatum saw his scoring increase, and he attempted a season-high number of shots and three-pointers, as he saw increased usage after Jaylen Brown was ejected. Tatum should continue to have a big role on offense for the Celtics now that he's back in the lineup, although his fantasy upside will be capped as long as he continues to play under a strict minutes cap.
