Okoro (shoulder) is out for Friday's game against the Wizards. Okoro is out for a 12th straight game with a shoulder sprain, and he can be tentatively labeled doubtful ahead of Monday's game against Minnesota while carrying no clear timetable for a return. • Cavaliers' Isaac Okoro: Will remain out Wednesday

Okoro (shoulder) didn't travel with the Cavaliers for their two-game road trip and will remain out Wednesday versus the Heat, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Okoro missed his sixth straight game in Monday's win over the Pistons while he recovers from an AC joint sprain of his right shoulder, an injury he initially suffered Dec. 16 and kept him out for eight games. He returned to action Jan. 8 but was ineffective over a stretch of five games before aggravating the injury when he took a hard hit to the shoulder in a Jan. 16 loss to Oklahoma City. According to Fedor, Okoro hasn't done much on-court work since his latest setback, so the fifth-year forward will most likely remain sidelined when the Cavaliers return home to play the second leg of a back-to-back set Thursday versus the Hawks.

  • Cavaliers' Isaac Okoro: Won't play Saturday

Okoro (shoulder) is out for Saturday's game against the Timberwolves, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. The Cavaliers will be thin in terms of frontcourt depth since they'll also be without Evan Mobley (calf). Okoro is a regular off the bench for the Cavs, and Georges Niang, Max Strus and even Jaylon Tyson could be in line to see more minutes off the bench. Okoro's next chance to play will come against the Suns on Monday.

  • Cavaliers' Isaac Okoro: Questionable for Saturday

Okoro (shoulder) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Timberwolves, Evan Dammarell of DownEuclid.com reports. Okoro is slated to be a game-time decision Saturday, as he recently faced an extended absence with a shoulder injury. If the 23-year-old swingman cannot suit up against Minnesota, Okoro's vacated minutes would likely be distributed among Caris LeVert, Max Strus and Georges Niang from Cleveland's second unit.

  • Cavaliers' Isaac Okoro: Gets light playing time in return

Okoro (shoulder) recorded zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt), one assist and one steal across 13 minutes in Wednesday's 129-122 win over the Thunder. Okoro made his return to action after missing the Cavaliers' last eight games due to an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder. Prior to getting hurt, Okoro had started in each of his last 16 appearances, but he was deployed off the bench Wednesday with the Cavaliers sticking with Dean Wade as their starting small forward. Even if he eventually moves back up to the top unit, Okoro could struggle to clear 20 minutes in most games while he's part of a deep stable of wings that also includes Wade, Max Strus, Caris LeVert, Georges Niang and Sam Merrill (ankle).

  • Cavaliers' Isaac Okoro: Stays hot from deep in return

Okoro (knee) accumulated 13 points (4-8 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 25 minutes during Friday's 115-105 win over the Wizards. Although it was sharpshooter Georges Niang who started the second half of Sunday's loss to the Heat after Evan Mobley (ankle) departed, Okoro drew the starting nod and chipped in a full stat line in his return from a two-game absence with a knee injury. In 15 games as a starter this season, Okoro is averaging 6.9 points, 2.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.7 steals and 1.5 three-pointers in 22.1 minutes per contest. The 23-year-old three-and-D wing is shooting a career-high 48.3 percent from beyond the arc over 22 games overall this year, and he'll remain a decent source of triples and swipes for fantasy managers if Mobley remains unavailable for Monday's matchup with the Nets.
