LaRavia has been downgraded to questionable for Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers due to an illness.

LaRavia is a late addition to the injury report, which doesn't bode well for his chances of suiting up Wednesday. If the 2022 first-rounder is ultimately ruled out, Keon Ellis and Trey Lyles should pick up the slack off the bench against Cleveland.

  • Kings' Jake LaRavia: Delivers 15 points off the bench

LaRavia provided 15 points (6-10 FG, 3-6 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist and two steals over 24 minutes during Wednesday's 116-110 loss to the Nuggets.

Although LaRavia was held scoreless in the second half, he came out hot off the bench and scored 11 points in quick succession. Domantas Sabonis' (hamstring) extended absence should end up working in LaRavia's favor as the Kings try to make up for the lost production. Malik Monk's (toe) absence also helped out LaRavia's bottom line during the loss.

  • Kings' Jake LaRavia: Decent showing off bench

LaRavia provided eight points (2-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and two assists over 28 minutes during Monday's 122-98 victory over the Mavericks.

With Domantas Sabonis set to miss some time with a hamstring issue, LaRavia is one of a number of players who could see a small uptick in playing time. • Kings' Jake LaRavia: Dealt to Sacramento

The Kings acquired LaRavia from the Grizzlies on Thursday in a three-team deal that also involves the Wizards, NBA reporter Chris Haynes reports.

Memphis will receive guard Johnny Davis, center Marvin Bagley (knee) and three second-round picks in the deal, while Washington will acquire guard Marcus Smart, center Alex Len, forward Colby Jones and a 2025 first-round pick. The Grizzlies declined LaRavia's 2025-26 team option in late October, a decision the club may regret after he produced well in his opportunities. In 47 appearances this season, the forward averaged 7.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists across 20.9 minutes. The 2022 first-round pick should slot in as a backup behind both DeMar DeRozan and Keegan Murray, a role that will likely afford him a handful of minutes per contest.

LaRavia racked up six points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and four steals in 24 minutes during Monday's 128-109 win over San Antonio.

LaRavia recorded a career-high four steals in the win. Although he's been playing a sizable role with the second unit, that could come to an end shortly -- Marcus Smart (finger) and Vince Williams (ankle) are nearing returns from their respective injuries, and GG Jackson appears to be turning a corner with his play.

  • Grizzlies' Jake LaRavia: Handles light role in return

LaRavia (back) tallied two points (1-2 FG), four rebounds and two steals across 13 minutes Monday in the Grizzlies' 143-106 loss to the Knicks.

LaRavia made his return to action after missing the Grizzlies' previous three games with a lumbar stress reaction. The third-year forward has averaged 21.6 minutes per game over 43 appearances on the season, but his playing time could remain more sparse moving forward while the Grizzlies have nearly their entire rotation at full health, with the exceptions of Marcus Smart (finger) and Vince Williams (ankle). Though LaRavia was able to pick up some playing time while Monday's contest was competitive, four of his minutes came late in the fourth quarter, when he checked back into the game when the Grizzlies were trailing by 34 points and had essentially conceded defeat.
