Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Fills up stat sheet in Game 1
Edwards provided 22 points (8-22 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine assists, eight rebounds and one steal across 35 minutes Saturday in the Timberwolves' 117-95 win over the Lakers in Game 1 of the Western Conference quarterfinal-round series.
Edwards didn't have the best first half in Game 1, but made up for it in the second half by coming two rebounds and one assist shy of a triple-double to help lead his team to a win in Los Angeles. Although Naz Reid and Jaden McDaniels stole the show for Minnesota by combining for 48 points, the Timberwolves will need Edwards to keep playing at a high level to pull off a first-round series victory.

Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Returns to Game 1
Edwards (cramping) returned to Saturday's Game 1 matchup with the Lakers with 10:57 remaining in the fourth quarter, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reports.
Edwards missed about four minutes of game action after checking out of the contest with 2:58 remaining in the third quarter and heading to the locker room. With the Timberwolves determining that Edwards wasn't dealing with anything more than cramping, he was cleared to check back into the game after getting rehydrated.

Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Dealing with cramping
The Timberwolves announced that Edwards is questionable to return Saturday in Game 1 of the team's first-round series with the Lakers due to cramping.
Edwards checked out of the game with 2:58 in the third quarter due to what was believed to be an injury, but he appears to have avoided a serious issue. While Edwards may not be able to return to action Saturday, he should be on track to be available for Game 2 on Tuesday.

Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Departs from Game 1
Edwards headed to the locker room in the second half of Saturday's Game 1 matchup with the Lakers in the first-round playoff series due to an apparent calf injury, Jace Frederick of St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
After missing a layup with 3:02 remaining in the third quarter, Edwards checked out of the game and went straight to the locker room, with a trainer walking alongside him. The Timberwolves will evaluate him and should provide an update on his status at some point in the fourth quarter.

Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Drops 43 points in season finale
Edwards racked up 43 points (15-31 FG, 7-18 3Pt, 6-7 FT), six rebounds, five assists, one block and three steals across 40 minutes during Sunday's 116-105 win over the Jazz.
Edwards won a ruling that voided a suspension for the game, and he laid a hammer down on the Jazz with a tour-de-force performance. Edwards drilled seven shots beyond the arc, and the sharpshooting dynamo now leads the league with 320 made three-pointers. The fifth-year pro averaged 27.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.2 steals this season and missed only three games, marking a fifth consecutive season without a serious injury.

Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: 16th technical foul rescinded
The NBA announced Saturday that Edwards' technical foul at 6:29 remaining in the second quarter of Friday's game versus the Nets has been rescinded, meaning he won't be suspended for Sunday's regular-season finale against Utah.
Edwards being able to suit up for Sunday's regular-season finale is actually very important for Minnesota, as a win could potentially mean that they are able to avoid the Play-In. The star guard is averaging 28.5 points across his previous two appearances against the Jazz this season.

Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Draws suspension for season finale
Edwards accumulated nine points (4-11 FG, 1-7 3Pt), five assists, four rebounds, two blocks and one steal across 31 minutes during Friday's 117-91 victory over Brooklyn.
While it was a disappointing night overall for Edwards as he failed to score in double digits for the first time all season, his poor production was a secondary storyline. Midway through the second quarter, he was whistled for a foul and promptly got slapped with a technical foul when he complained about it. The technical was his 18th of the season, which comes with an automatic one-game suspension, assuming it doesn't get rescinded by the league office. Edwards will thus have to sit out Sunday's regular-season finale against the Jazz, a game Minnesota needs to win in order to escape the Play-In Tournament and claim the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference. Prior to Friday's dud, Edwards had scored at least 20 points in seven straight appearances, averaging 30.4 points, 5.6 boards, 4.7 three-pointers, 4.1 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.9 blocks over that stretch.

Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Pours in 44 points in victory
Edwards supplied 44 points (13-19 FG, 7-11 3Pt, 11-13 FT), five rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block across 38 minutes during Thursday's 141-125 win over the Grizzlies.
The superstar racked up at least 40 points for the eighth time this season, which ranks third in the league behind Giannis Antetokounmpo (13 games) and Nikola Jokic (10 games). Edwards was extremely efficient against Memphis, and he sank at least seven triples for the eighth time on the season as well. Moreover, the 23-year-old guard recorded a block and a steal for the fourth consecutive contest. Edwards has been impressive of late, logging 25 or more points in each of his last six appearances, including three outings with 34-plus points.

Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Leading scorer in tough loss
Edwards totaled a team-high 25 points (10-27 FG, 2-11 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal in 39 minutes during Tuesday's 110-103 loss to Milwaukee.
The fifth-year guard scored at least 25 points for the fifth straight game, but it wasn't enough as Minnesota squandered a 20-point lead heading into the fourth quarter and dealt a blow to the team's chances of escaping the Play-In Tournament. Edwards has been doing it all for the Timberwolves down the stretch -- he's recorded at least one steal and one block in three straight contests, and over his last 10 appearances he's averaging 27.0 points, 4.8 boards, 4.4 assists, 3.5 threes, 1.2 steals and 0.8 blocks.

Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Dazzles with 37-point performance
Edwards provided 37 points (12-21 FG, 6-13 3Pt, 7-8 FT), two rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 38 minutes during Saturday's 114-109 win over Philadelphia.
Edwards didn't contribute much in other categories outside of the scoring column, but there's no doubt fantasy managers won't complain after a 37-point, six three-pointer performance in which he also delivered a couple of highlight-reel sequences. Edwards has reached the 25-point mark in his last four games and appears to be heading into the postseason with plenty of momentum.

Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Starting second half
Edwards (ankle) is back on the court for the start of the second half Thursday versus the Nets, Lucas Kaplan of NetsDaily.com reports.
Edwards went to the locker room during the second quarter after appearing to roll his ankle on Brooklyn head coach Jordi Fernandez's foot on a three-point attempt, but he's been cleared to return after being evaluated by his club's medical staff.
