  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Limited role in season-ending loss

Risacher racked up three points (1-11 FG, 0-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and two steals across 16 minutes during Friday's 123-114 overtime Play-In Game loss to the Heat. Despite starting, Risacher only saw 16 minutes of action in Friday's overtime loss, allowing Caris LeVert, Terance Mann and Georges Niang to all receive increased playing time. The No. 1 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft ended his rookie campaign averaging 12.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 24.6 minutes on 45.8/35.5/71.1 shooting splits across 75 regular-season appearances. However, in Risacher's 42 regular-season appearances since the beginning of January, he converted 40.1 percent of his 4.8 three-point attempts per contest.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Muted performance in loss

Risacher closed with seven points (2-10 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and three rebounds over 29 minutes during Tuesday's 120-95 Play-In Game loss to the Magic. Risacher struggled to generate anything offensively while playing in his first-ever postseason game, though the usage was encouraging. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, Risacher still has a long way to go as a fantasy asset -- he finished well outside the top-200 for nine-category value with 12.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.7 steals, 0.5 blocks and 1.6 three-pointers on 45.5 percent shooting from the field.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Notches 16 points

Risacher amassed 16 points (6-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and two assists over 22 minutes during Sunday's 147-134 win over the Jazz. Risacher has found his groove on the offensive end, scoring 15.0 points per game over his last seven appearances in 25.9 minutes. The rest of his stat line has left a lot to be desired, however, with 3.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.3 steals, 0.4 blocks and 1.6 three-pointers on 46.1 percent from the field and 75.0 percent from the line.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Erupts for career-best 36 points

Risacher chipped in 36 points (12-21 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 7-9 FT), six rebounds and one steal across 35 minutes during Sunday's 145-124 win over Milwaukee. The first overall pick in the 2024 Draft looked like a future franchise player Sunday, setting a new career scoring high as he out-dueled Giannis Antetokounmpo, who finished with 31 points. Risacher remains inconsistent -- he scored only five points in Thursday's loss to the Heat -- but that's to be expected from a kid who doesn't turn 20 years old for another couple of weeks. He's drained multiple three-pointers in seven of the last 10 games, averaging 17.7 points, 4.3 boards, 2.4 threes and 1.2 assists over that stretch while shooting 53.1 percent from the floor.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Puts up 22 points in win

Risacher amassed 22 points (9-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one block over 27 minutes during Sunday's 132-119 victory over the 76ers. Risacher didn't do much aside from scoring the rock. Still, fantasy managers should be happy to see the rookie being more consistent in the scoring column in recent weeks. This was the third time he cleared the 20-point mark over his last seven games, a stretch in which he's averaging 16.9 points per game while shooting an impressive 53.5 percent from the floor.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Scores 16 points

Risacher registered 16 points (7-13 FG, 2-8 3Pt) and two rebounds in 23 minutes during Sunday's 122-114 loss to Brooklyn. The rookie has managed to solidify his position as a starter, and while there have been some ups and downs, he's been productive across the board. Risacher has scored in double digits in five of his eight March appearances, reaching the 20-point mark twice in that span.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Leads charge in comeback win

Risacher ended Monday's 132-130 win over the Grizzlies with a team-high 27 points (11-13 FG, 5-7 3Pt), one rebound, one block and four steals in 32 minutes. It was the 19-year-old's best scoring effort since Jan. 30, when Risacher poured in 30 points against the Cavs. The first overall pick in the 2024 Draft also set a new career high with four steals, and while his production has been erratic on occasion, he continues to flash his impressive upside. Risacher has drained multiple three-pointers in six of the last seven games, averaging 14.0 points, 5.1 boards, 2.6 threes, 1.6 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.7 blocks over that stretch while shooting an eye-popping 52.9 percent (18-for-34) from beyond the arc.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Muted performance in win

Risacher closed with two points (1-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist across 26 minutes during Monday's 98-86 victory over Miami. This was a tough showing for the No. 1 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, but this was just a bump in the road of what's been a pretty good month. Through 10 February outings, Risacher has averaged 13.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.6 steals and 1.8 three-pointers in 25.2 minutes per game.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Game-high 30 points in return

Risacher dropped 30 points (11-14 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 3-6 FT), two steals, one rebound and one assist in 25 minutes during Thursday's 137-115 loss to the Cavaliers. The rookie forward showed no signs of rust in just his second game back from an adductor injury that sidelined him for seven of his last eight games. As expected, his time on the court was limited, but he produced nonetheless, putting up the second-best scoring performance of his young career and marking the first time he's logged more points than minutes played. His two steals were a nice addition to the fantasy output, but that aside he didn't contribute much in other facets of the game. With Jalen Johnson (shoulder) ruled out for the season, Risacher should be expected to carry a larger role in head coach Quin Snyder's offense going forward.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Out again Saturday

Risacher (adductor) is out for Saturday's game against the Celtics, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Risacher will miss a second consecutive game Saturday due to left adductor irritation, and he can be deemed day-to-day ahead of Monday's matchup with the Knicks. In the 2024 No. 1 overall pick's absence against Boston, David Roddy appears primed to make his third start of the campaign after joining Atlanta's first unit in Wednesday's win over Chicago.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Scores season-low two points

Risacher supplied two points (1-8 FG, 0-4 3Pt), one rebound, two assists and one block in 17 minutes during Wednesday's 108-100 victory over the Knicks. Risacher tallied a season-low two points, continuing his modest production of late. Despite being a consistent member of the starting unit, Risacher has struggled to deliver noteworthy numbers, averaging just 10.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.1 three-pointers in 21.7 minutes per game over the past month. Although his role appears relatively safe, it's hard to see him playing more than about 25 minutes per game, barring injuries to other players.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Solid output in win

Risacher totaled 14 points (6-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal in 25 minutes during Saturday's 107-104 victory over the Hornets. Risacher scored in double figures for the third time in as many games, and he also contributed on the defensive end. The 19-year-old was hitting 39.8 percent of his tries from the field through his first 11 appearances of the month, but he's come alive of late, knocking down 20 of 40 attempts over his last five appearances. Risacher appears to be figuring out how to consistently produce after struggling at times through the first month of his NBA career.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Explodes for career-high 33 points

Risacher contributed 33 points (11-18 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 5-9 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, two blocks and three steals in 37 minutes during Wednesday's 121-116 victory over the Knicks. Risacher endured a shooting slump in the early stages of the season but has been playing better of late, and he's been improving with each passing game. Things seem to have clicked for him since the start of November, and he has scored in double digits in three straight games. This 33-point output represents a career-best mark for him, and although he's not likely to hover around the 20-point mark in most games, his arrow is certainly trending in the right direction.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Scores career-high 17 points

Risacher accumulated 17 points (7-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal over 35 minutes during Wednesday's 133-120 loss to the Wizards. Risacher enjoyed the best game of his young career Wednesday despite struggling with his outside shot. The 2024 No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft has started in his last three contests, averaging 11.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.7 blocks and 1.3 steals in 29.3 minutes over that span. While Risacher is posting 35.4/23.8/58.3 shooting splits on the season, his defensive prowess is encouraging.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Making first career start

Risacher will start Sunday's game against the Thunder. Risacher will enter the starting lineup due to De'Andre Hunter (knee) being ruled out. The No. 1 overall pick has struggled to kick off his career, averaging 6.0 points on just 23.1 percent from the floor through two games, but he will now get an expanded opportunity.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Adds 14 bench points

Risacher tallied 14 points (5-11 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one steal in 23 minutes during Monday's 104-89 preseason loss to the 76ers. Risacher came off the bench again Monday, but he finished the night with a team-high 14 points and fell just two rebounds shy of a double-double. The 2024 No. 1 overall pick continues to impress in the preseason, as he's scored 32 total points in his first two appearances while also showing significant upside on the glass.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Participating in camp

Risacher (quadriceps) has been a full participant at training camp this week, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports. The Hawks have made no mention of the quadriceps injury that limited the rookie during Summer League. The No. 1 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, Risacher will have the opportunity to make his case for the starting small forward role in camp.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Out again Saturday

Risacher (quadricep) won't play in Saturday's Summer League game against the Knicks, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Risacher will miss the Hawks' final Summer League contest -- his third consecutive absence -- due to a bruised right quad. The issue isn't expected to have any long-term ramifications, and it's likely that the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft will be a full participant when training camp gets underway in the fall.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Sitting with bruised quad

Risacher won't play in Wednesday's Summer League game against the Lakers due to a right quad contusion, John Hollinger of The Athletic reports. The No. 1 overall pick participated in both of the Hawks first two Summer League games and is averaging 14.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 blocks. However, Risacher will be held out of Wednesday's contest due to a bruised right quad. His next chance to play will come Friday against the Bulls.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Struggles from floor

Risacher recorded 11 points (4-12 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 2-5 FT), five rebounds, two assists and a block in 29 minutes during Sunday's 79-76 loss to the Hawks in Summer League. Risacher posted a second consecutive double-digit scoring outing to kick off Summer League but struggled with efficiency. The first-overall pick has especially struggled from deep, shooting just 25.0 percent from three over his first two outings. Despite his struggle to kick off Summer League, he is a proven proficient three-point shooter, logging 45.0 percent from beyond the arc across 23 games during the EuroCup in 2023-24, so it will be surprising if his shooting woes continue for an extended period.
