  • Hornets' Brandon Miller: Hits game-winner Wednesday

Miller ended with 19 points (6-16 FG, 3-11 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds and four assists in 29 minutes during Wednesday's 108-107 victory over the Pistons. Miller capped off a solid performance, converting a put-back layup as time expired to give the Hornets a one-point victory. After a hip injury cost Miller four of the first five games of the season, he has been able to cobble together three encouraging performances. His numbers remain a little underwhelming, but the hope is that as he spends more time on the court with LaMelo Ball, the two will be able to lead the Hornets into the future.

  • Hornets' Brandon Miller: Good to go Monday

Miller (glute) is available to play in Monday's game against the Timberwolves, Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com reports. Miller will play through a left glute strain Monday, though he will likely remain a mainstay on the injury report for a bit due to the injury. The second-year pro played through the injury in Saturday's loss to Boston, during which he tallied 16 points (6-8 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six assists, four rebounds, two steals and a block in 31 minutes.

  • Hornets' Brandon Miller: Back on injury report

Miller (glute) is questionable for Monday's game against the Timberwolves. Following a four-game absence, Miller returned to action Saturday against the Celtics and posted 16 points (6-8 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six assists, four rebounds, two steals and a block in 31 minutes. The left glute strain will likely make Miller a regular on the injury report for a bit. However, the second-year forward played well in his return and didn't have any restrictions, a good sign for his availability moving forward.

  • Hornets' Brandon Miller: Good to go Saturday

Miller (glute) is available for Saturday's game versus the Celtics. Miller has been upgraded from questionable to available Saturday after missing Charlotte's last four contests with a left glute strain. With Seth Curry (knee) out, Miller should reclaim his starting spot against Boston.

  • Hornets' Brandon Miller: Iffy against Boston

Miller (hip) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game versus the Hornets. Miller is in danger of missing his fifth consecutive contest Saturday while dealing with a left glute strain. • Hornets' Brandon Miller: Could make return Friday

Miller (glute) is listed as questionable for Friday's game versus the Celtics. After missing the past three games with a glute strain, Miller was re-evaluated and might make his return Friday. If the second-year forward is ruled out again, Seth Curry and Cody Martin should continue to receive increased playing time.

  • Hornets' Brandon Miller: To be re-evaluated in one week

Miller (hip), who has been ruled out of Friday's matchup against the Hawks, will be re-evaluated in one week, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com reports. Miller sustained a left glute strain in Wednesday's season-opening win over the Rockets and will miss time at least a week. In the 21-year-old's absence, Tre Mann will likely see an uptick in playing time along with Cody Martin and Seth Curry. Josh Green is another candidate for increased minutes, but he's currently sidelined by Achilles soreness.

Miller is out for Friday's game versus the Hawks due to a left glute strain. Miller left Wednesday's regular-season opener early and will now be forced to miss Friday's contest. • Hornets' Brandon Miller: Forced to exit opener

Miller has been ruled out for the remainder of Wednesday's contest due to left hip soreness. • Hornets' Brandon Miller: Another strong outing

Miller recorded 26 points (10-20 FG, 6-11 3Pt), five rebounds and three assists in 29 minutes during Tuesday's 111-105 preseason loss to the Knicks. Miller shot an impressive 37.3 percent from three as a rookie and is showing this preseason that he can improve upon that number in 2024-25. With LaMelo Ball back in action to run the offense, Miller could establish himself as one of the best young scorers in the NBA.

  • Hornets' Brandon Miller: Struggles from deep Tuesday

Miller tallied seven points (2-13 FG, 1-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 25 minutes in Tuesday's 111-108 preseason win over the Heat. The No. 2 pick of the 2023 NBA Draft was on the floor for 25 minutes Tuesday, the most out of the Hornets' starting five. He shot 37.3 percent from three on 6.7 3PA/G in his rookie season, but he struggled from deep during Tuesday's win, and across his two preseason outings, he's gone 4-for-17 from beyond the arc. Miller will look to improve on his rookie campaign, during which he averaged 17.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 0.9 steals across 32.2 minutes per game.

  • Hornets' Brandon Miller: Likely to play Friday

Miller is probable for Friday's game against the Magic due to a right wrist sprain. Miller was questionable for Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers due to his wrist injury, but he suited up and tallied 21 points, two rebounds, two steals, an assist and a block in 30 minutes during the narrow loss. He'll likely be able to play again Friday and should have more help around him, as Miles Bridges (wrist) and Vasilije Micic (shoulder) are also probable.

  • Hornets' Brandon Miller: Gets little help in loss

Miller recorded 21 points (9-20 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals in 30 minutes during Wednesday's 89-86 loss to the Trail Blazers. The second overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft was the only Hornet to score more than 11 points on the night, and the rest of the team shot just 39.7 percent from the floor. Miller has scored in double digits in 20 of 21 games since the All-Star break, and he's averaged 18.0 points, 4.8 boards, 2.7 threes, 2.5 assists and 1.1 steals over that stretch as he puts together a strong finish to his rookie campaign.

  • Hornets' Brandon Miller: Game-high 31 points vs. Cavs

Miller ended Wednesday's 118-111 win over the Cavaliers with 31 points (11-19 FG, 7-13 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one block across 35 minutes. Miller led all scorers for the second straight night Wednesday in a game that saw no other Hornets player score 18 points or more. Miller has now reached 20-plus points in three of his last four games and has averaged 22.3 points on 44.9 percent shooting (including 44.4 percent from three on 9.0 3PA/G), 5.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists over 34.8 minutes per game over that span.

  • Hornets' Brandon Miller: Hits for game-high 24 in loss

Miller supplied 24 points (8-18 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 5-5 FT), eight rebounds and three assists across 37 minutes during Monday's 115-92 loss to the Cavaliers. The rookie wing led all scorers on the night, but no other Hornet scored more than 13 points. Miller is showing signs of fatigue toward the end of his first NBA campaign, but he's still produced 20-plus points five times in 11 March games and has averaged 17.7 points, 5.4 boards, 2.5 assists, 2.5 threes and 0.8 steals on the month despite shooting just 41.8 percent from the floor and 70.4 percent from the free-throw line.

  • Hornets' Brandon Miller: Scores 13 points in loss Saturday

Miller amassed 13 points (5-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-3 FT), two rebounds and one assist in 34 minutes during Saturday's 132-91 loss to the Hawks. Miller has settled into an established offensive role for the Hornets, so by now, it's not a surprise to see him score in double digits while attempting 10 or more shots every time he steps on the court. The rookie out of Alabama has shown flashes of his potential, and while his game remains rough around the edges, the Hornets are going to give him plenty of minutes, especially now that they're eliminated from the playoffs. Miller has averaged 17.1 points per game since the beginning of March.

  • Hornets' Brandon Miller: Leads Hornets in scoring Tuesday

Miller accumulated 21 points (7-20 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one steal across 32 minutes during Tuesday's 112-92 loss to Orlando. It was the first time since March 9 against the Nets that Miller scored 20-plus points in a game. He struggled overall from the field, but he managed to hit four threes for the 15th time this season. He's averaging 17.6 points per game in March, and he and Miles Bridges are the only Hornets players to provide some semblance of scoring prowess as Charlotte ranks last in the NBA in offensive rating over its last 15 games.

  • Hornets' Brandon Miller: Well-rounded performance

Miller recorded 19 points (7-17 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, seven assists, one block and one steal in 35 minutes during Monday's 114-97 loss to Detroit. Miller wasn't overly efficient on a night when Charlotte shot just 38.6 percent from the field as a team, but he chipped in across the board and facilitated without committing a turnover. Monday marked his first game of the season logging more than three assists in a turnover-free outing, alluding to the rookie's upside as a secondary playmaker.

It was the first career double-double for the second overall pick in the 2023 Draft. Miller has scored 20-plus points in seven of 14 games since the beginning of February, averaging 20.9 points, 4.9 boards, 2.9 threes, 2.5 assists, 1.6 steals and 0.8 blocks over that stretch and emerging as one of the centerpieces of the Hornets' offense.

  • Hornets' Brandon Miller: Ruled out against Philadelphia

Miller (back) won't play in Friday's game versus the 76ers, Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer reports. Miller has been downgraded from questionable to out for Friday's game versus the 76ers due to a lower back injury. However, the rookie forward's injury isn't expected to sideline him long-term. Seth Curry will start in Miller's absence, while the latter's next chance to suit up is Sunday's matchup in Toronto.
