Craig is out Saturday's game versus the Knicks due to a right ankle return-from-injury reconditioning, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.

Celtics' Torrey Craig: Set to join Boston
Craig (ankle) agreed to a contract with the Celtics on Thursday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Craig opened the season with the Bulls but hadn't played since late December due to a right lower leg contusion and a right ankle sprain before being waived Monday. After clearing waivers, the veteran forward quickly caught on with Boston, where he'll likely serve in a depth role for the remainder of the season. The 33-year-old journeyman will play for his sixth NBA team once he suits up for the Celtics, with his debut potentially coming as early as Saturday against the Knicks in New York, according to Jared Weiss of The Athletic. He averaged 6.9 points and 2.8 rebounds in 12.6 minutes per game over his nine appearances with Chicago before being cut loose.

Torrey Craig: Cut by Chicago
Chicago waived Craig (ankle) on Monday.
Craig and Chris Duarte were roster casualties with the Bulls needing to open up a pair of extra spots for two of their three trade acquisitions in Kevin Huerter, Zach Collins and Tre Jones. Craig averaged 6.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.7 three-pointers in 12.6 minutes per game over nine appearances for the Bulls before going down with the injury.

Bulls' Torrey Craig: Not ready to return
Craig (ankle) participated in shootaround Friday. Still, head coach Billy Donovan said the veteran forward needs more time before returning to the floor for Chicago, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
Craig will miss a 16th straight game for the Bulls on Friday while he nurses a right ankle sprain. However, he seems to be trending toward returning sooner rather than later after participating in shootaround ahead of Friday's game against the Raptors in Toronto, which is a promising sign for Chicago.

Craig (ankle) is out for Friday's game versus the Raptors.
Craig will miss his 16th straight contest Friday due to a sprained right ankle. The Bulls haven't provided a concrete update on where he stands in his recovery, so Craig will most likely remain sidelined through the final game of the team's road trip Sunday in Detroit.

Bulls' Torrey Craig: Listed as out for Wednesday
Craig (ankle) is out for Wednesday's game against the Celtics.
By the time Craig sees his next chance to return to the floor for the Bulls on Friday against the Raptors, he will have missed over a month of action due to a sprained right ankle. With Zach LaVine on paternity leave for Wednesday, Patrick Williams figures to enter Chicago's starting lineup while Matas Buzelis handle a larger role from the bench.

The Bulls announced Monday that Craig (lower leg) will be re-evaluated in two weeks, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
Craig has missed the Bulls' first six games of January due to a right lower leg contusion, and he apparently hasn't made enough progress in his recovery for the Bulls to view him as day-to-day. The forward has largely been outside of the Chicago rotation throughout the season, appearing in just nine contests while averaging 6.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 0.2 steals and 0.1 blocks across 12.4 minutes.

Bulls' Torrey Craig: Out Saturday, could miss further time
Bulls head coach Billy Donovan said that Craig won't be available for Saturday's game against the Knicks and will "miss a little bit of time," K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
Craig will be sidelined Saturday for a second straight contest due to a right lower leg contusion, and based on Donovan's comments, the veteran forward seems likely to sit out an additional game or two beyond that. The 34-year-old hasn't been a consistent member of Chicago's rotation this season, so his absence should go largely unnoticed.

Craig closed Monday's 115-108 overtime victory over the Hornets with 18 points (6-10 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal over 21 minutes.
Craig did all of his damage in the second half, tying a career-high five triples en route to 18 points. After failing to leave the bench during the first half, it was one of the more unexpected performances of the day. Despite this outburst, Craig's role is anything but assured, especially when the Bulls get some healthy bodies back on the floor.
