  • Kings' Zach LaVine: Team-high 26 not enough Sunday

LaVine racked up 26 points (10-17 FG, 6-9 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists and one steal across 30 minutes during Sunday's 144-117 loss to the Timberwolves. After a couple of quiet shooting performances sandwiched around Tuesday's scratch due to a back issue, LaVine looked more like his usual self Sunday as the veteran wing led the Kings in scoring and sank nearly half of the team's 13 total three-pointers. LaVine has topped 25 points in six of his nine appearances this season, averaging 25.2 points, 3.4 threes, 3.3 boards and 2.0 assists while shooting 52.7 percent from the floor, 90.9 percent from the charity stripe and 43.1 percent from beyond the arc.

  • Kings' Zach LaVine: Regresses with nine points in loss

LaVine provided nine points (3-5 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one steal over 29 minutes during Friday's 132-101 loss to the Thunder. LaVine posted his lowest total of the season during the blowout loss, and the result marked his only single-digit scoring total as well. Friday's game was an outlier, as the veteran is currently averaging 25.1 points per game and is often the Kings' leader in the box score.

  • Kings' Zach LaVine: Back in action Friday

LaVine (back) has been cleared for Friday's game against Oklahoma City, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports. LaVine missed Wednesday's matchup against the Warriors while dealing with a back issue. However, he'll be back on the court for Friday's action and will be eager to build upon a strong start to the 2025-26 campaign. He's averaging 27.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 37.0 minutes across seven games.

  • Kings' Zach LaVine: Unavailable for Wednesday

LaVine (back) will not play Wednesday against the Warriors, Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com reports. Similar to Domantas Sabonis (ribs), LaVine was unable to shake his questionable tag for Wednesday. For now, LaVine can be considered day-to-day ahead of Friday's matchup with the Thunder. Keon Ellis and Malik Monk could both be more involved Wednesday and could see a bump in fantasy appeal.

  • Kings' Zach LaVine: Questionable for Wednesday

LaVine (back) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Warriors. LaVine played through the back issue Monday, but he was held to a season-low 15 points on 4-11 shooting. We should get another update following Wednesday's shootaround, but if LaVine is forced to the sidelines, Keon Ellis could get a spot-start.

  • Kings' Zach LaVine: Available for Monday

LaVine (back) is available for Monday's game against the Nuggets, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports. LaVine popped up as questionable on the injury report, but he'll play through the issue Monday with no word of any restrictions. The guard has been red hot to open the regular season with averages of 29.5 points, 3.7 three-pointers, 3.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists through six outings.

  • Kings' Zach LaVine: Iffy for Monday

LaVine is questionable for Monday's game against the Nuggets due to lower-back soreness. LaVine put up his fifth 30-point game of the season Saturday against the Bucks, but he finds himself dealing with a back injury ahead of Monday's bout. If he is unable to play, Keon Ellis and Nique Clifford could see expanded roles with Malik Monk (personal) already ruled out.

  • Kings' Zach LaVine: Another 30-point game Saturday

LaVine produced 31 points (8-17 FG, 6-13 3Pt, 9-10 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal in 39 minutes during Saturday's 135-133 win over the Bucks. LaVine continued his scoring binge to open the new campaign, posting his fifth 30-point effort through just six appearances. The star guard will likely cool down a bit at some point, but fantasy managers have to be pleased with his productivity thus far. LaVine has averaged 29.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 3.7 three-pointers per game, shooting 53.0 percent from the floor, 40.0 percent from deep and 94.3 percent from the foul line.

  • Kings' Zach LaVine: Secures fourth 30-point game

LaVine closed with 30 points (12-19 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, three assists and two steals in 36 minutes during Wednesday's 126-113 loss to Chicago. It's easy for LaVine to find his scoring groove, and he did exactly that against his former team to the tune of 30 points. Coach Doug Christie is currently playing LaVine 36.6 minutes per game, the ninth most in the league. The 12-year pro is converting that playing time to 29.2 points per game thus far.

  • Kings' Zach LaVine: Active from deep in loss

LaVine had 23 points (6-13 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 7-7 FT), four rebounds and three assists in 35 minutes during Tuesday's 107-101 loss to the Thunder. LaVine saw his streak of three straight 30-point games snapped Tuesday, taking just 13 shots after attempting 18 or more in each of his first three outings. Despite the dip in scoring, the 30-year-old continued to light it up from deep, hitting four three-pointers for the third consecutive contest. Through four games, LaVine is averaging 29.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists, thriving as a high-volume scorer but offering limited production in other areas.

  • Kings' Zach LaVine: Good to go vs. LAL

LaVine (illness) is available for Sunday's game against the Lakers, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports. LaVine will shed his questionable tag and suit up against the Lakers. The 30-year-old swingman has posted at least 30 points in each of the Kings' two regular-season games thus far, averaging 30.5 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists while shooting 54.8 percent from the field in 36.0 minutes per contest.

  • Kings' Zach LaVine: Questionable for Sunday

LaVine (illness) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Lakers. LaVine is under the weather and could miss the Kings' third regular-season game. If the 30-year-old swingman is unable to suit up against Los Angeles, Malik Monk and Keon Ellis are candidates for an uptick in minutes, while Devin Carter could enter the rotation.

  • Kings' Zach LaVine: Pours in 31 points

LaVine closed Friday's 105-104 victory over the Jazz with 31 points (10-18 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 7-7 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one block across 37 minutes. LaVine broke the 30-point threshold for a second consecutive game, capping off a spectacular start for the veteran. This is a feat he accomplished twice last season, with last season's record set at three consecutive 30-point games. He'll try to tie the milestone against the Lakers over the weekend.

  • Kings' Zach LaVine: Stellar with 30 points in loss

LaVine provided 30 points (13-24 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds and one assist across 35 minutes during Wednesday's 120-116 loss to the Suns. LaVine's three-point shot was off in the defeat, but he made 13 baskets inside the arc to drive his impressive total. Throughout last season, LaVine's floor was exceptionally high. He also exceeded the 30-point threshold 19 times, demonstrating his upside when the game flows in his direction.

  • Kings' Zach LaVine: Posts 15 points in preseason finale

LaVine generated 15 points (4-11 FG, 4-4 FT, 3-7 3Pt), six assists and four rebounds across 28 minutes in Friday's 117-116 win over the Lakers. Many of LaVine's usual first-unit teammates are currently banged up, so the versatile two-way swingman will be forced to carry a larger role once the regular season gets underway. The team will take no chances with valuable pieces like Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) and DeMar DeRozan (groin), so they are unlikely to play until they are close to 100 percent. LaVine had his own injury scare Friday, as he kept trying to shake out his right wrist/hand. However, it didn't slow him down during the preseason finale and isn't expected to impact his availability for the regular-season opener.

  • Kings' Zach LaVine: Provides diverse line in loss

LaVine generated 13 points (6-11 FG, 1-5 3Pt), six assists, four rebounds and three steals across 28 minutes during Wednesday's 109-91 loss to the Clippers. LaVine played close to his normal minute total in the loss and gave us a glimmer of his usual multi-category production. The Kings have acquired a true point guard in Dennis Schroder, so LaVine should be able to produce more off-the-ball opportunities with less pressure to direct the offense.

  • Kings' Zach LaVine: Drops 19 in loss

LaVine finished with 19 points (7-11 FG, 5-8 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists and one steal across 25 minutes during Friday's 124-123 preseason loss to the Trail Blazers. LaVine was highly efficient in the shooting department, especially from beyond the arc, going 62.5 percent from deep. The veteran scorer has been efficient over the past two preseason games, shooting an impressive 66.6 percent from the field during that short span.

  • Kings' Zach LaVine: Solid total in preseason win

LaVine finished with 16 points (5-7 FG, 3-3 FT, 3-5 3Pt), one rebound and one assist across 15 minutes in Wednesday's 130-122 preseason loss to the Raptors. LaVine's results were significant considering his 15 minutes of work in the defeat. He embarks on his first full season with the Kings after coming over from Chicago at the trade deadline, and he immediately formed a nice synergy with the rest of the roster upon arriving. He was a great complement to former teammate DeMar DeRozan, who both provided offensive support during the team's push for a playoff spot. The team will experience some adjustments under new head coach Doug Christie, but LaVine's role will remain unchanged.

  • Kings' Zach LaVine: Drops 20 in loss to Dallas

LaVine ended Wednesday's 120-106 Play-In Game loss to Dallas with 20 points (8-19 FG, 4-10 3Pt), three rebounds and nine assists across 44 minutes. The 30-year-old wing had another good showing from beyond the arc, but it wasn't enough to keep the Kings' playoff hopes alive. LaVine drained at least four three-pointers in seven straight games to close out his campaign. Over 32 appearances with Sacramento following a midseason trade from Chicago, he averaged 22.4 points, 3.8 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 3.2 three-pointers. Sacramento will likely be looking to shake up its roster this summer, but it's hard to see LaVine being on the move again -- he has one year and $46 million left on his current contract, plus a player option for 2026-27 at $48.97 million.

  • Kings' Zach LaVine: Limited to 27 minutes Sunday

LaVine contributed 16 points (6-11 FG, 4-6 3Pt) and two assists in 27 minutes during Sunday's 109-98 victory over the Suns. LaVine snapped a streak of four games with at least 40 minutes in this regular-season finale, as he was limited to a mere 27 minutes against an already-eliminated Suns team. LaVine should handle his regular workload when the Kings take on the Mavericks in the Play-In Tournament on Wednesday. The veteran averaged 23.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game in 74 regular-season appearances between the Kings and Bulls.
