76ers' Paul George: Out for Saturday
George (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday's matchup against the Grizzlies, Kyle Neubeck of AllPHLY.com reports.
George was a full participant during Friday's practice and shootaround, including five-on-five scrimmages with the team. However, the 34-year-old will join Joel Embiid (knee) on the sideline Saturday, though both appear close to making their 2024-25 debut. George's next chance to feature will come Monday against the Suns.

76ers' Paul George: Practices fully Friday
George (knee), who is questionable for Saturday's game against the Grizzlies, was a full participant in Friday's practice and shootaround, including five-on-five scrimmages with the team, Austin Krell of USA Today reports.
George's participation in practice suggests he is nearing a return to game action and bodes well for his potential comeback as soon as Saturday against the Grizzlies. Joel Embiid (knee) has already said he is not playing Saturday despite joining George as a full participant in practice, so it would not come as a shock if the 76ers hold both of their stars out for another game.

76ers' Paul George: Out again Wednesday
George (knee) will not play in Wednesday's game against the Pistons, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Along with Joel Embiid (knee), George's season debut will have to wait a bit longer. Both players participated in parts of Tuesday's practice and will be re-evaluated later in the week. Fantasy managers should consider George and Embiid as questionable to face the Grizzlies on Saturday.

76ers' Paul George: Out next two games
The 76ers announced Thursday that George is progressing well in his recovery from a left knee bone bruise but will not play during the team's two-game road trip, Kyle Neubeck of AllPHLY.com reports.
George is now set to miss the first three games of the regular season, and an update on his availability will be provided early next week. In the star forward's absence, KJ Martin, Caleb Martin and Guerschon Yabusele should continue to receive increased playing time. George's next chance to suit up is Wednesday's matchup with Detroit.

George (knee) was a partial participant in Thursday's practice but did not scrimmage, Sam DiGiovanni of ClutchPoints.com reports.

76ers' Paul George: Will sit out Wednesday
George (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Bucks, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.
This is a brutal blow for the 76ers, as Joel Embiid (knee) is sidelined as well. George was limited to individual work at Monday's practice, and he's scheduled to be re-evaluated later this week. For now, he should be considered questionable at best for Friday's game against the Raptors. With George on the shelf, Kelly Oubre and Caleb Martin could see significant usage on the wings for the 76ers.

George (knee) was able to do some individual work at Monday's practice, Kyle Neubeck of AllPHLY.com reports.
George did not go through Philadelphia's regular practice and obviously didn't take part in the scrimmage either. He's currently considered day-to-day with a knee bone bruise, and imaging revealed no structural damage. George will be re-evaluated Tuesday, at which point his status for Opening Night against the Bucks on Wednesday will be known.
