Rockies' Charlie Condon: Suffers fractured wrist
Condon was diagnosed with a non-displaced fracture in his left wrist Friday, Manny Randhawa of MLB.com reports.
Condon suffered the injury Thursday while making a diving attempt to catch a ball in the outfield. He will not need to undergo surgery, which will keep his recovery relatively short, but it will still be roughly six weeks before he's cleared to begin baseball activities. The 21-year-old outfielder slashed .180/.248/.270 with one home run and 12 RBI across 109 plate appearances at High-A Spokane upon beginning his professional career last season, and he'll likely return to Spokane once his wrist heals.

Rockies' Charlie Condon: Injures left wrist
Condon sustained a significant left wrist injury Tuesday while diving to make a catch in the outfield.
The specifics of the wrist injury aren't yet clear, but it could sideline him for the start of the minor-league season. Condon was the third overall pick of the 2024 draft and played in 25 games for High-A Spokane last season, where he slashed .180/.248/.270 across his first 100 at-bats of professional baseball.

Rockies' Charlie Condon: Making pro debut at High-A
The Rockies assigned Condon to High-A Spokane on Tuesday.
Condon is arguably the top player from the 2024 First-Year Player Draft for dynasty leagues, and he will be making his professional debut in the Midwest League. Spokane has a hitter-friendly home park, and the caliber of pitching at High-A at this point in the season is pretty poor, so Condon could put up monster numbers for as long as he remains with Spokane. A promotion to Double-A Hartford before season's end isn't out of the question.
