After disappointing for most of the season, Rodriguez has finally found his groove as the Mariners make their final push towards the playoffs.     Rodriguez went 3-for-5 with two homers and five RBI in Friday's 8-2 victory over Texas.

    The center fielder gave the Mariners a 4-2 lead when he launched a 398-foot, three-run homer off reliever Jack Leiter in the fifth inning. Rodriguez then returned in the seventh to crack another long ball off Leiter, this one being a two-run shot that went 355 feet, to notch his first multi-homer game this season. The 23-year-old has been scorching hot in September, hitting .309 (25-for-81) with five homers, 16 runs scored, 13 RBI and four steals across 18 games.
