Harrison rebounded after having given up four home runs in his previous start, allowing just two runs to cross the plate Thursday while avoiding the long ball for the sixth time in his last eight starts. Harrison remained in the game following a 50-minute rain delay in the top of the third but was removed with the bases empty and two outs in the fifth at just 61 pitches, a season-low total for the 22-year-old lefty. While there is no indication that an injury was the cause for his removal, Harrison did see a noticeable dip in his velocity with multiple fastballs failing to reach 90 mph. It's possible the Giants will elect to give him extra rest, but as of now he looks to be on track to make his next start, which is tentatively scheduled to take place during next week's home series against Atlanta.
