Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Beginning rehab assignment Tuesday
Manager John Schneider said Friday that the plan is for Bichette (calf) to join Triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday to begin a rehab assignment, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Bichette is expected to need 4-5 games with the affiliate before he's cleared to rejoin the big-league roster. Sidelined since mid-July with a right calf strain, Bichette has been able to run the bases several times this week and will remain with the Blue Jays in Atlanta through the weekend. He's in the midst of a down year with a .222/.275/.320 slash line through 80 games, and there are questions about his future in Toronto.

Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Closing in on rehab assignment
Bichette (calf) ran the bases Monday and will do so again Wednesday, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.
Running the bases marks a big step forward for Bichette as he works his way back from a right calf strain which initially cropped up nearly two months ago. Bichette will travel with the Blue Jays to Atlanta this weekend to continue ramping up and is expected to be ready for a rehab assignment soon. He's tracking toward a return from the injured list by mid-September.

Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Works out at Fenway Park
Bichette (calf) traveled with the Blue Jays on their road trip and was spotted fielding grounders at Fenway Park prior to Tuesday's game against the Red Sox, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Bichette will continue to work out with the team on its trip before eventually heading out on a rehab assignment. The shortstop's return to game action in the minors doesn't look to be imminent, however, so he realistically won't be ready to return from the 10-day injured list until at least mid-September. He's been shelved since late July with a moderate right calf strain.

Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Resumes running
Manager John Schneider said Thursday that Bichette (calf) has resumed running at the team's complex in Florida, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.
Bichette had been limited to hitting and fielding drills over the past several days, but his return to running marks a significant checkpoint in his recovery from a right calf strain. He's slated to join the Blue Jays in Boston on Monday and travel with the team during their road trip, after which he could potentially head to the minor leagues on a rehab assignment.

Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Expected to resume running soon
Blue Jays manager John Schneider said Monday that he expects Bichette (calf) to begin running in 2-to-3 days, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.
Bichette recently resumed hitting and fielding drills at the Blue Jays' spring training complex in Florida and is almost ready to take another big step when he starts up a running program. If he shows he can run without issue, a rehab assignment would figure to be around the corner. Bichette has been shelved since late July with a moderate right calf strain.

Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Resumes baseball activities
Bichette (calf) has resumed baseball activities at the Blue Jays' spring training complex in Florida, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.
Bichette will remain in Florida for a while to ramp back up before the Blue Jays consider a rehab assignment, so he looks to be multiple weeks away from a return. Leo Jimenez has been filling in at shortstop since Bichette was sidelined in late July with a moderate right calf strain.
