  • Twins' Harrison Bader: Not in Minnesota lineup

Bader is absent from the lineup for Thursday's contest against the White Sox. Bader had started each of the previous four games but will grab a seat for Thursday's series finale. DaShawn Keirsey is playing left field and batting eighth for the Twins.

  • Twins' Harrison Bader: Out of Friday's lineup

Bader is not in Minnesota's starting lineup against Atlanta on Friday. Bader has gone 5-for-7 with one stolen base, two runs scored and two RBI over his last two games, but he'll begin Friday's game in the dugout. The Twins will start Trevor Larnach, Byron Buxton and DaShawn Keirsey in the outfield against Atlanta right-hander Bryce Elder.

  • Twins' Harrison Bader: First three-hit effort this season

Bader went 3-for-4 with an RBI, a run scored and a stolen base Tuesday against the Mets. The speedy outfielder drove in a go-ahead run on a ground ball in the fourth inning, pushing Minnesota on top 3-2. Matt Wallner (hamstring) had to exit Tuesday's game, and Bader is a candidate for additional at-bats until the former is healthy. Bader could be a sneaky source of power and speed for fantasy managers in a more consistent role, as he's batting .255 with three home runs, 11 RBI, four runs scored and one stolen base through 47 at-bats to begin the season.

  • Twins' Harrison Bader: Sitting Monday

Bader is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Mets. Bader will head to the bench after going 0-for-13 at the dish over his last four starts. With Bader out of the lineup, Trevor Larnach will fill in as the Twins' starting left fielder, opening up the designated-hitter spot for Edouard Julien.

  • Twins' Harrison Bader: Drives in lone run Tuesday

Bader went 1-for-3 with an RBI single in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Royals. Bader was responsible for the Twins' lone run Tuesday, when his single in the fifth inning brought Ty France across home plate to tie things up at 1-1. Bader has logged a hit in three straight games and has gone 5-for-11 with one walk and two RBI over that span.

  • Twins' Harrison Bader: Ices game as pinch hitter

Bader went 1-for-1 with a three-run homer in a win over the White Sox on Tuesday. Bader cemented the Twins' first win of 2025 with a pinch-hit blast to left field in the ninth to put them up 8-3. He has two homers on three hits in 12 plate appearances in the early going.

  • Twins' Harrison Bader: Homers in Minnesota debut

Bader went 2-for-4 with a double and a two-run home run in Thursday's loss against the Cardinals. Bader appeared ticketed for fourth-outfielder duties with the Twins heading into spring training, but he seems to be a beneficiary of the injuries to infielders Royce Lewis (hamstring) and Brooks Lee (back). With Lewis and Lee on the injured list, Jose Miranda is expected to see the majority of the starts at third base to begin the season, making corner outfielders Trevor Larnach and Matt Wallner candidates to see more time at designated hitter and thereby opening up a spot in the outfield for Bader. His performance Thursday should also help keep him the lineup in the short term until Lee or Lewis return.

  • Twins' Harrison Bader: Draws Opening Day start

Bader will start in left field and bat ninth in Thursday's season opener versus the Cardinals. The 30-year-old brings most of his real-life value as a defender, but he proved to be a decent fantasy asset in 2024 despite often hitting at the bottom of the Mets' batting order. In 143 games last season, Bader totaled 12 home runs, 17 steals, 57 runs and 51 RBI.

  • Twins' Harrison Bader: Will see significant run in LF

Bader is expected to see a "significant amount of playing time" in left field for the Twins this season, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports. Bader's best asset is his defense in center field, which is where each of his last 651 regular-season appearances have come. However, as long as he's healthy, Byron Buxton is slated to handle the bulk of the playing time in center field. Trevor Larnach is projected to start in left field against right-handers, but he could yield to Bader regularly versus lefties.

  • Twins' Harrison Bader: One-year deal with Minnesota

The Twins signed Bader to a one-year contract Wednesday that includes an mutual option for 2026, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports. He'll be guaranteed $6.25 million, with up to $2 million more available in incentives, per Dan Hayes and Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic. The Twins have an injury-prone center fielder in Byron Buxton and two left-handed-hitting corner outfielders in Trevor Larnach and Matt Wallner, so the right-handed-hitting Bader makes sense as an active fourth outfielder. Bader has a career .776 OPS against left-handed pitching and much of his playing time could come versus southpaws, provided Buxton is able to stay healthy.

  • Mets' Harrison Bader: Making start in Game 2

Bader is starting in center field and batting ninth Sunday against the Phillies in Game 2 of the NLDS. Bader didn't start in Game 1, but he made an impact nonetheless, entering as a pinch runner in the eighth inning and scoring the tying run. He then logged an at-bat in the ninth and singled before stealing second base and subsequently scoring again. With Bader entering the lineup Sunday, Tyrone Taylor will begin the game on the bench.

  • Mets' Harrison Bader: Drawing start in first game

Bader will start in center field and bat ninth in the first game of Monday's doubleheader versus Atlanta, Tim Healey of Newsday reports. Bader had not started the last six games against right-handed pitching, but he's getting the call for this one versus righty Spencer Schwellenbach. Tyrone Taylor is handling right field and Starling Marte will begin the contest on the bench.

  • Mets' Harrison Bader: Retreats to bench

Bader is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Nationals. Even though Starling Marte (forearm) is on the bench for the second day in a row, the Mets won't make room in the outfield for Bader, who had started in center field in each of the previous four contests. Instead, Tyrone Taylor will get the starting nod in center after he went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 2-1 loss to Philadelphia.

  • Mets' Harrison Bader: Double, home run in win

Bader went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer, a double and an additional run scored in Friday's 11-3 win over the Phillies. Bader laced a two-out double off Max Lazar in the sixth inning before putting the game to bed with a three-run homer off Tyler Gilbert in the eighth, his 12th long ball of the year. Bader had gone just 3-for-24 with no extra-base hits in 12 games prior to Friday while continuing to lose at-bats to Jesse Winker, Starling Marte and Tyrone Taylor. Overall, the 30-year-old Bader is slashing .246/.290/.393 with 50 RBI (matching a career high), 54 runs scored and 16 stolen bases across 404 plate appearances this season.

  • Mets' Harrison Bader: Clutch homer in win

Bader went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Reds. The center fielder broke open a scoreless tie by taking Sam Moll deep to lead off the sixth inning. Bader has been making his rare hits count over the last few weeks -- he's gone just 3-for-45 (.067) since Aug. 15, but all three hits have left the yard. On the season, Bader is slashing .243/.288/.384 with 11 homers, 15 steals, 47 RBI and 52 runs in 392 plate appearances.

  • Mets' Harrison Bader: Getting Saturday off

Bader isn't in the Mets' lineup Saturday versus the White Sox. Bader continued to struggle at the plate Friday, going 0-for-4 while driving in an RBI en route to a victory. He'll bow out of the lineup again Saturday while Brandon Nimmo starts in center field, putting Jesse Winker in left.

  • Mets' Harrison Bader: Idle Thursday

Bader isn't in the Mets' lineup for Thursday's game versus the Diamondbacks. Bader has seemingly broken out of his offensive skid by hitting two home runs over his last two games, but he will be held out of Thursday's series finale. The Mets will instead roll out an outfield trio of Jesse Winker, Brandon Nimmo and Starling Marte.

  • Mets' Harrison Bader: Absent from lineup

Bader is not in the Mets' lineup Tuesday versus the Diamondbacks. While Bader has been getting starts every other game, he has appeared in every game since Aug. 13. In the 13-game span since then, the outfielder has struggled at the plate with just two hits in 34 plate appearances. Tyrone Taylor has the start in center Tuesday and is batting seventh.

  • Mets' Harrison Bader: Sitting down Saturday

Bader isn't in the Mets' lineup Saturday against the Padres. The Mets will give Bader a day to regroup after he's gone 0-for-19 over his last nine games. While he rests, Jesse Winker, Brandon Nimmo and Starling Marte will make up the Mets' outfield trio.

  • Mets' Harrison Bader: Resting Thursday

Bader isn't in the Mets' lineup for Thursday's game against the Padres. Bader has come up hitless in 16 at-bats over his last seven games, and he'll now get a day off to regroup Thursday. Tyrone Taylor will get the starting nod in center field instead and bat ninth.
