  • Jaylen Nowell SG | WAS

Jaylen Nowell: Let go by Wizards

The Wizards released Nowell on Monday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

In order to make room on the roster for Erik Stevenson, Washington let go of Nowell following the expiration of his 10-day contract. Nowell didn't make an appearance with the Wizards during this time, but he did average 8.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.5 blocks and 1.0 three-pointers in 21.0 minutes over eight games with the Pelicans earlier in 2024-25. In the meantime, the 25-year-old guard will look to find a home elsewhere.

  • Jaylen Brown SF | BOS

Celtics' Jaylen Brown: Plays in All-Star Game

Brown (knee) scored four points (2-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt) with two rebounds across seven minutes for Team Shaq in Sunday's 41-25 win over Team Chuck in the All-Star Game.

Brown missed two straight games due to right knee soreness prior to All-Star Weekend, but his availability Sunday bodes well for his status going forward. Brown should be ready to roll for Thursday's game against the 76ers, resulting in fewer minutes for Payton Pritchard and Sam Hauser.

  • Kyrie Irving PG | DAL

Mavericks' Kyrie Irving: Makes impact in All-Star Game

Irving (shoulder) logged seven points (3-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and two steals in eight minutes of action during Sunday's 41-25 All-Star Game final win over Chuck's Global Stars.

Irving made his presence felt in limited action in both games of the All-Star mini-tournament, totaling 11 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals in just 15 minutes across the two contests. Irving has been dealing with a shoulder issue of late, but it seems as if he should be available when the Mavericks return to play Friday against the Pelicans.

  • Jayson Tatum PF | BOS

Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Scores 15 in All-Star Game

Tatum recorded 15 points (6-7 FG, 3-4 3Pt), three rebounds and two assists in 11 minutes during Sunday's 41-25 All-Star Game final win for Shaq's OGs over Chuck's Global Stars.

Tatum had a solid performance in the semifinal for a balanced OGs squad, logging six points, two rebounds and two assists. However, he truly shined in the tournament final, posting a game-high scoring total. While Stephen Curry was named All-Star Game MVP, Tatum played a pivotal role in the OGs' success. The Celtics will resume regular-season play Thursday against the 76ers.

  • Warriors' Stephen Curry: Named All-Star Game MVP

Curry claimed All-Star Game MVP honors after recording 12 points (4-8 FG, 4-8 3Pt), four rebounds, two steals and an assist in 11 minutes during Sunday's 41-25 win against Chuck's Global Stars.

After shooting just 2-for-8 from three-point range in the All-Star Game Tournament semifinal, Curry caught fire, knocking down four threes, including a heave from near half court. The 11-time All Star recorded 20 points and 10 rebounds in 23 minutes of action across both games. This marks Curry's second career All-Star Game MVP award, the other coming back in 2022. The Warriors will return to action Friday against the Kings.

  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Cools off in ASG final

Gilgeous-Alexander tallied four points (1-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and one assist over 6:02 of court time during Chuck's Global Stars' 41-25 loss to Shaq's OGs in the final round of the All-Star Game Tournament.

Gilgeous-Alexander paced Team Chuck in their first-round victory over Team Kenny, connecting on all five of his field-goal attempts and finishing with 12 points, two rebounds, one assist and one block over 7:10 of playing time, but he wasn't able to carry that momentum into the finals. Now that the All-Star Game is over, Gilgeous-Alexander, fellow All-Star Jalen Williams and the Thunder will look to expand on their eight-game cushion at the top of the Western Conference standings, starting with Friday's game against the Jazz.

  • Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Scores 11 points in ASG final

Wembanyama registered 11 points (5-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt), three rebounds and one block over 7:29 of court time during Chuck's Global Stars' 41-25 loss to Shaq's OGs in the final of the All-Star Game Tournament.

Wembanyama played a key role in Team Chuck's 41-32 win over Team Kenny in the first round, finishing with six points, four rebounds, one block and one steal over 6:22 of court time. Wembanyama was the only player on Team Chuck to score in double digits in the finals, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory. With All-Star weekend coming to a close, Wembanyama and the 12th-seeded Spurs will look to make a final push for the playoffs, starting with Thursday's game against the Suns.

  • Ryan Dunn SG | PHO

Suns' Ryan Dunn: Scores eight in All-Star Game loss

Dunn logged eight points (3-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds and a steal in 10 minutes during Sunday's All-Star Game semifinal loss to Shaq's OGs.

Dunn tied for a team-high eight points with Dalton Knecht, although it was not enough to advance to the final. Dunn has seen a limited role of late, averaging 3.2 points and 2.6 rebounds in 10.8 minutes per contest over his last five appearances. The Suns return to action Thursday against the Spurs.

  • Spurs' Stephon Castle: Solid outing in All-Star Game

Castle recorded six points (3-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and two steals in 11 minutes during Sunday's 42-35 All-Star Game semifinal loss to Shaq's OGs.

Castle put together a solid all-around performance in the Rising Stars' first-round loss, tying a game-high with two steals and adding six points. Castle has been slotted to a bench role after the acquisition of De'Aaron Fox, but he has still been a consistent contributor, averaging 19.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.4 steals in 24.8 minutes per contest over his last five appearances. The Spurs will return to the front end of a back-to-back set Thursday.

  • Darius Garland PG | CLE

Cavaliers' Darius Garland: Dishes three dimes in All-Star Game

Garland registered six points (2-4 FG, 2-3 3Pt), three assists and two steals over 6:22 of court time during Kenny's Young Stars' 41-32 loss to Chuck's Global Stars in the first round of the NBA All-Star Game Tournament.

Garland finished as Team Kenny's leader in steals and co-led in assists with Jalen Brunson. Garland earned his second All-Star selection having averaged 21.6 points, 6.7 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.1 steals over 30.2 minutes per game, and he has played an integral role in the Cavaliers' 44-10 regular-season record. Garland and the Cavs will hit the road to face the Nets on Thursday.
