Rockies' Austin Gomber: Back from paternity list

Gomber was reinstated from the paternity list Friday. He'll start Friday's game against the Cubs.

As expected, Gomber will rejoin the team to make the start Friday. The left-hander has been impressive across his last five starts, logging a 3.00 ERA and a 1.06 WHIP with a 23:7 K:BB across 33 innings. Tanner Gordon was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque in a corresponding move.
