Draft Scouting Report

Pro Comparison: Diontae Johnson
Summary

Ricky White III is a slender, twitchy slot WR with good height for the role. He’s sudden and balanced, using sharp cuts and basketball-style jukes to shake defenders. He sinks into route breaks and explodes out, making him a consistent short-area separator. He flashes awareness of DBs' blind spots and has a decent release package but struggles against physicality. Hands are average, but he fights to secure passes outside his frame. Not a leaper but shows body control in traffic. If he holds up to NFL contact, he projects as a crafty underneath target with enough speed to occasionally threaten deep.
